They did my Taxes, and charged reasonably, but were rude, dismissive, accusatory and filed my taxes late because they prioritized other customers. It was a week and a half full of stress of trying to get Yoram on the phone, or to reply to emails, which then ended with a few rude emails and phone calls. My favorite was when I was in the shower and did not answer the phone about the payment link that they sent, and so Yoram emailed me saying that if I don't pay they won't submit my report. Yep, it was that awesome.

Alpha Consulting & Tax has prepared my taxes every year since 1992. They also established my S-Corporation, this further providing savings and protection to my private practice as a psychotherapist and writer. If I needed advice during the year--and not only in tax season--someone was always promptly available with the right answers. They were always on top of the changes in tax regulations. Jennifer and Deneese are great. I called them in December after moving from California to New York. My last CPA really messed up my taxes for the past two years. My friends in LA also went to Alpha and they recommended them. Jennifer took charge of all the details and explained how they could help. They send amended returns and got the mess cleared up and I actually got a refund instead of owing taxes. Amazing! Next time I'm in LA I'm going to stop by the office and give them some hugs and cookies.

I have always found paying taxes to be pain staking and anxiety provoking. So much is already taken out of my check, it's simply painful. However, I can't avoid it and the process has become much easier with Yoram's help. He is blunt and real, which I suspect many people can't handle based on some of these reviews. However, I would rather him be tough with me than the IRS, wouldn't you?? He is always available to help me when I freak out because of some frightening letter from the IRS. He is willing to work with me when I have time, which is often in the evenings or weekends. He always puts great effort in to get my bookkeeping, tax returns, etc. done as soon as possible. If you want someone who keeps it real, and helps you handle your tax requirements right, call Yoram! You will feel relieved!

I have read some of the negative reviews, i have no clue what these people are talking about. I have been coming to Yoram for 21 years in a row now, he has been a charm. Yes there a years where he is under a lot of pressure, although like any one of us under pressure we may stress out here and there, though the problem in this world is that everyone likes to criticize the other person, though they never look in the mirror.Yoram is an ALL STAR hard working man that should be appreciated by his clients, if you are unhappy, tell him, he is so cool and down to earth.Anyone not filing taxes with Yoram, Alpha Tax, they should really consider switching to him, he is the best out there and really cares for his clients!!!

This is a horrible company stay far far far far away from them he will do whatever he pleases then call you and idiot on the phone when he messes up your taxes doesnt understand tax code and claims to be a deity. Do yourself a favor a avoid this scumbag
