Extremely rude old woman there named Connie. She didn't know how to do her job n yelled over me everytime I tried to speak or explain anything. Unreal. Only reason a person acts like that is because their boss acts like that too. She told me to circle the lot a few times and walked off. I sat their half hour before a different pharmacist heled me and knew her job. They called me and told me my meds were ready. Get there and before I can speak im being yelled at and spoken over so many times i just stopped and waited for this belligerent rude woman to stop speaking. They need a lesson in respect and also learn their job. No reason to be acting like this.

Called 3x in one day to get my meds. They give me a time they will have it done by. I ask for handicap drive thu to be open. I get there and this rude ugly old woman named Connie yelled over me everytime I tried to speak. She didn't know how to do her job...trying to school me about the VA when ive been dealing w them 20 yrs...im listed under my Social security not VA. Regardless yelling at me to leave because she couldn't find my meds. She walked off after yelling me to circle the block? So I sat im my van for half hour. Finally a younger polite young lady brought my meds n gave me the reg discount....unreal. when I told her what Mrs ugly face said and did...she tried to apologize and said she wasn't yelling that it just sounds that way? I was a DI and know when someone acting like a turd. This wal greens in Encinitas has terrible leadership. Only reason employees act so horrible n disrespectful to a disabled Vet no less...is because the boss acts like that too. Unsat. They need a lesson in speaking to the public as well as knowing their job. If you make a mistake own it and don't try to act like nothing happened. Rude n totally unacceptable but ok w management.

This review is for the pharmacy. Second time I have had to phone the pharmacy for issues with a patient's prescription and cannot seem to get anyone on the phone. Estimated 3 minute wait-time, currently pushing 20 minutes.... better than the last time where they were just picking up the phone and putting it back on hold every few minutes (I assume to avoid getting in trouble by corporate for keeping people on hold for too long?) It is crazy to me that places like this can stay in business.....

Believe the negative reviews! I gave the pharmacy a chance and regret it. It’s too difficult reaching anyone by phone and the lines in person are slooow. They’re often rude on the phone and not much better in person or the drive thru. (Only one woman is helpful. I don’t know her name but she had on a Seattle Challengers sweatshirt. Most of the general store employees aren’t much better.

I've used many pharmacies and this Walgreens has been the absolute worst one I've ever been in. First of all, you can never get ahold of the pharmacy. I will call multiple times, be left on hold for literally 30 minutes just for it to hang up on me and have to do the same thing over again. The line is always so long and only one or two people are helping customers. The staff acts depressed or seems like it's such a burden to them to help out without any attitude. The manager looks like and acts like she is on something herself and it's just really giving off ghetto vibes which is unfortunate because it's in beautiful Encinitas. I will be switching pharmacies.

The pharmacy customer service is ATROCIOUS. I was trying to explain something today to a female pharmacy staff member who continued to talk over me. I couldn't get a word in edgewise as she continued her loud and rambling diatribe about all the reasons she couldn't help me. She wouldn't even stop when I BEGGED her to let me speak. It was crazy. I seriously wondered if there was something wrong with the phone connection. I thought maybe if I raised my voice she would stop talking and let me speak. Nope. She hung up on me. This comes after years of enduring rude staff and constant turnaround because I preferred the convenience of a drive-thru pharmacy. The treatment I received today is the straw that broke the camel's back. I'm finally running--not walking--away and taking my business with me. Maybe CVS staff will treat me with common decency when I simply want to refill my prescriptions. Here's to hoping.

This pharmacy only qualifies for a 0 star rating. My prescriptions were automatically transferred there when my pharmacy closed. Every time I have had to deal with them they have put up road blocks to getting my prescriptions filled. It's not time to refill, there is a problem with insurance, they are out of stock...etc, and what one employee tells you on how to resolve the situation the next employee refuses stating "I'm not responsible for what another employee says"?? My doctor's office must call them multiple times on my behalf. So today I decided to transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy. That would be fine except the new pharmacy told me that they have been trying to transfer prescriptions for a week from this store and they will not pick up their phone! And when you call this Walgreens expect at least a 20 minute wait on the phone.

They believe in customer prevention not customer service. Miserable employees. Everyone in the pharmacy acts like they're doing you a favor. Walgreens paid 4.5 billion for Riteaids. Maybe the money would have been better spent training and staffing Walgreens personnel and to pay them livable wagesOpen the drive thru at the very least so sick people aren't forced to stand in line. Ridiculous management for YEARS at this locale

Harissa in the Pharmacy is the type of employee every business owner wants. I called with two different issues, needing help, and she went out of her way to take care of me.She mentioned that the drive-thru was closed for the day due to staff shortages. When I pulled up 20 minutes later, the drive-thru was open. And when I gave my name, she introduced herself, explained what she had done to get me my prescriptions, and, although I could tell she was managing several things that day, she was totally warm and pleasant and efficient. And that really sets her apart..,AND Walgreens! Thank you!

If I could provide a zero star rating, I would. The staff at the pharmacy here are rude, exude a general dislike for customers and the wait times are egregious. Horrible! Avoid if possible

They are extremely slow and are doing nothing to improve. Line inside waiting for prescription was extremely long so decided to try drive thru. Only 2 cars ahead of me yet took over 30 minutes. Go to any other pharmacy.

They are so overwhelmed here it is sad. I had a 7pm appointment for vaccination and i stood in line waiting for 20 minutes. All I could hear was staff raising their voices with customers and vice versa. Terrible experience and it is sad that the staff is put in this position by the management. I will do my best to never come back to this location.

Really long delays at the pharmacy. Prescriptions are never filled on time and there is a lot of confusion when needing to fill them. I'd recommend a different pharmacy for regular prescriptions.

After waiting on hold for 37.32 minutes I was disconnected Calling back asking to speak to the Store Manager I was once again placed In queue and waiting another 11.22 minutes I was again disconnected Called a 3rd time and the manager was too busy to bother Due to my insurance I am bound to Walgreens I vow to find another Walgreens which will be so inconvenient but the rude customer service I have ALWAYS experienced at Encinitas Walgreens is not worth the aggravation
