Best pharmacy staff I have EVER dealt with. Friendly, efficient, and CARING. More than once they have gone out of their way to help me obtain back ordered medication and to facilitate ways to reduce my co-pay. I have tried lots of pharmacies in the area but I am sticking with this one, It's also nice to be able to pick up my RX and get my shopping done at the same time

I had a VERY bad experience at CVS and switched to Vons Pharmacy in Encinitas. I have had an EXCELLENT experience at the Vons Pharmacy in Encinitas. The staff at this pharmacy are GREAT! They are super helpful, patient, and available. They pick up if you call. They answer your questions. And they are pleasant. And they even helped me figure out the best prices on several prescriptions - THANKS for that! I don't know where the one star reviews came from, but they don't represent the experience I have had. I highly recommend Vons Pharmacy.

Very unhappy and disappointed with the lack of service this evening. I arrived at the pharmacy counter (just in time (7:58pm) by their clock), after many red lights and limping across from the parking lot next to the locked door to the open one. The folks working in the pharmacy had already closed and locked up shop early and were heard giggling behind the screens. I had hurried down there after work to pick up important medication I need immediately. I even called to check on my way, and knew they'd be closed Thursday. All I got was the token "sorry we're closed now" and not even a person sticking their head out the door to see my distress and maybe help me find an alternative pain reliever since the two packages they had right there waiting for me were too much trouble for them to hand off. I will not be using this pharmacy again.

The pharmacy staff was awesome, they went above and beyond to help us find discount coupon codes for our dogs medications. We will come here from now on for all meds.

I've used this pharmacy a few times (Vons in Encinitas) and every time I have interacted with the pharmacist she seemed impatient and borderline angry. I ask basic questions about my medication, which the pharmacist is supposed to answer, and she acts like I'm imposing on her.

Von's Pharmacy doesn't answer their phone. I have called eight times today, starting this morning. They don't answer, and their message states that I should not leave a message. My husband had surgery, and I need to pick up his medication. We've been using Von's pharmacy for 20 years, but I will have to move our prescription to a new pharmacy.

Went in to to use the restroom and bought a cutlery, some lady working there followed me outside and spied on me as I drove off.. this place has shitty people working there.. sketchy employees .. low frequency minded.. you're supposed to have customer service

BOYCOTT VONS PHARMACY - THEY DON'T CARE IF YOU LIVE OR DIE I have called Vons Pharmacy several times over a period of years and NEVER ONCE HAVE THEY PICKED UP THE PHONE. Today the line won't even take a message - I'm guessing the voicemail is full. What if this were an emergency? That's completely unacceptable when it comes to healthcare, and the community should let Vons know that LOUD & CLEAR by spreading the word that are taking our business for granted and do not deserve it. I can live with the expired food all over the store forcing me to check expiration dates on everything I buy, but similar apathy around healthcare is irresponsible and an egregious insult to customers. This store is a disgrace and embarrassment to Encinitas. Avoid like coronavirus.

I have shopped at this Vons on several occasions and the customer service is subpar at best. Notably the checkout clerks... So far my interactions have only been with male clerks... I won't give names but I will say they are extremely unfriendly borderline rude. They don't greet you when you walk up to check out, they don't interact with you during the transaction, they don't say thank you when they hand you your receipt. What has gone wrong with customer service at the store? I won't shop here again. I'll head to Ralph's of the street... They are great!

I shop at this Vons until recently. The electric handicap carts have been permanently removed from easy access near the handicap parking spots to the other entrance. This is a problem as this entrance door is locked at night denying access to the carts and not as close to the handicap spots. The ORIGINAL area where the carts where placed for easy access has been replaced with recycled bins and wood.

First I will say...Vons is great but the cashier Robert or Bob that checked me out this evening around 4:30pm is an absolute dick. I'm on a budget (like most of us) and mistakenly put to many groceries in my cart and naturally went over that budget. As embarrassing as just that was, I started putting back items while nervously apologizing. This dude made it very clear to me and the people in line behind me that he was fully irritated. I was humiliated. Then he made a comment to the cashier behind him about me because they both looked at me. Obviously it was about me. During these insane times aren't we supposed to be kinder to each other? Have more empathy for people that are struggling. I get it. I'm sympathetic. He has to deal with the general public all day but I'm one of the nice ones!

I live in Cardiff and sometimes visit this Vons. Yesterday I encountered a store that appeared so neglected that I probably will not return. Huge gaps in the shelves, missing prices on products, milk in the cooler past the expired date. I understand that supply chain issues mean that some things will not be available, but remaining stock can still be brought to the front of the shelves. When I was searching for a product I encountered an employee and expressed my dismay at the appearance of the store. She replied, "You should see the store on Mission Gorge - it's even worse."

After 2 years (blame it on covid . . Lol) we decided to finally turn in cans and bottles, since it was Sunday most recycling centers were closed. Found one by looking it up on Yelp, but when we got there it was no where to be found. It pinned near Vons so went inside to ask, one of the cashier said they take recycling but I needed to ask the operations manager, Lisa. Found her at the register helping customers so I patiently waited, when she caught my eyes I informed her I had some recycling. She said she would help me once another manager stepped in for her. While waiting I stepped outside to I start separating cans from bottles. Low and behold she showed up within few minutes as she promised. Lisa was so patient and kind while we put 25 items into each bags (which she provided). I felt bad as we had about 375 cans and bottles to separate, but at no time did she make us feel bad about it. I give her A+ for customer service! Thank you Lisa, you are amazing! Yelp ya later!
