If i have something to ups i will go to ANY OTHER UPS store rather than this one. Dave, i hear you are the owner? What the heck? Why sooo incredibly rude dude? All three times ive been to you( giving you a decond any third chance ad we all have bad days) but youre grouchy and so mean every time. You are in the wrong business!!!!

Was very disappointed with my experience at this location. Waited for about 5 minutes, in line behind someone already being helped, before even being acknowledged at which point the gentleman working there asked what I needed. I told him I had a Happy Return (which is very quick) and he told me it would be about 40 minutes. Even the customer turned around and said "I shouldn't be that long". I asked if one of the other people working there could help me and I didn't receive a response... So I just walked out. Will go to any other location next time - Poor customer service.

The people that give a low review and less than 5 stars must be owners or workers of a competing shipping center. I've been coming here 3-5 days a week for 5+ years and I've ALWAYS had a 10-star experience on a 5-star scale. This place Rocks on all cyclinders! All the workers, (Kristen, Amanda, Cody, Kris, Randy, etc and Dave the owner) are personable, helpful from the minute you walk inside, and super efficient! They'll even come out and help you carry or cart big pkgs in when needed. We all know that a shipping center is a busy place, and this UPS store is no exception, but the crew that Dave has hired to run this store keeps the line moving with a personable attitude to boot.

Beware of Dave…I came in today to pick up a package. I ordered from Urban Outfitters & they gave me the option to pick up at a UPS Store & gave me the option to choose the address of the store I want to pick up at. Dave approached me & I told him I am here to pick up a package. His response was “Why?” This confused me. I said I ordered online & had it sent here to pick up? He said “Tell me why” I said to save on shipping & for safety so it wouldn’t be stolen. He said “You are not suppose to do that” Again I was confused because if so then why would this company give me this option to do so. He could tell I was confused so he finally decided to ask my name & retrieve my package. He told me “You can never do this again.” He said “Your package could easily get lost here so if you ever want to send packages here again then you should buy a mailbox here so we can actually make some money” He was very attacking, rude tone, and clearly doesn’t know customer service skills. He made me feel threatened, & like I did something wrong. I never write reviews but felt people should know this before coming here.. good luck!

I recently had a disappointing experience at a local UPS store that has left a sour taste in my mouth, compelling me to share my story and advise others to consider their options before using this particular location.From the moment I walked in, I was greeted not with a welcoming smile or helpful attitude but by a man I believe is named Dave, whose approach to customer service was anything but friendly. His demeanor was not just unprofessional; it was downright impolite. He seemed more interested in intimidating customers rather than assisting them. Dave made sure to highlight the risks of lost packages in what felt like an attempt to scare me into buying services I did not need. He insisted, quite aggressively, that I should pay for a mailbox at the site, even though it was irrelevant to my needs at the time.The whole interaction was uncomfortable and left me feeling uneasy about entrusting my package to their care. It's disheartening to encounter such behavior in a place that should be reliable and customer-friendly. I left the store with a resolve never to use this location again if I can help it.For those in the area needing shipping services, I strongly recommend visiting the real UPS store near Target. My experiences there have always been positive, with staff who are helpful and genuinely seem to care about their customers' needs. This stark contrast in customer service and overall experience makes it clear where my loyalty will lie in the future. Avoid the hassle and choose a location that values your business and treats you with respect.

I thought I might have been wrong in my feeling offended and uncomfortable by the owner Dave until I read all the other reviewsThe most polite thing I can say is that Dave was most likely a bridge troll in his past lifeI hope he sells this business to a person that is not a complete sociopath. THIS IS THE WORST LOCATION FOR UPS EVER. I went to take my documents there not one customer in the building. Two people working. I said good morning, and they totally ingnored me. Older man told me to change my packaging (It was in a fedex bag, I was out of UPS bags)that he wouldn't take it even though I had a UPS label. The old woman gave me a dirty look and ignored me. Not one person offered to help, This is not the first time. This location has the worst customer service ever. I went to the the one down the street. WAY BETTER PEOPLE AND IT DOESN'T SMELL like the Carlsbad dump.

READ OTHER REVIEWS below. Consistent with my experience.Owner of this location Dave Lyon the older gentleman was extremely rude when I brought in an Amazon return that was heavy. Told me I shouldn’t be returning something heavy and should be keeping orders that are heavy. He made multiple comments about how heavy my package was and made me feel very uncomfortable. Was talking about me to his other coworkers about how I couldn’t figure out my phone while I was trying to print a label. He also made sarcastic comments about how I managed to get the package in my car to begin with. Won’t be returning to this location. I wanted to call to make a complaint but as he is the owner, wasn’t able to.

Have been disappointed with the service from time to time especially the poor customer care and the very nickel and dimey charges for a single sheet of paper / receipt print ($3) which seems nominal but is complimentary at every other location I’ve been to.
