Appointments mean nothing to this shop, communication even less. I made an appointment a week in advance, after 4 days and a weekend they hadn't done anything or returned any of my calls. Was going to have them do a major job despite the rocky start. Dropped off all parts and another 4 days later they hadn't even started. Seeing the writing on the wall and how this was going to go I pulled my car out opting for a more reliable shop and glad I did. The attitude I received when I picked up my car was the nail in the coffin. Thanks for the zero help loading my parts and making me stand there and wait to get my keys as you ignored me. Do yourself a favor, go with a shop that will do what they say they will do when they say they will do it and not turn into jerks the second you have an issue.

The people at Trans Masters are the real deal! They answer their phone, they do what they say they will do, and are very forthcoming and transparent. They actually showed me my vehicle while it was up on the rack so that I could understand what the actual issues were! I truly appreciate their care of my vehicle and their excellent work!

Rick the owner and staff are very knowledgeable about classic car engines and repair and also, new modern car engines and performance. They did a great job adjusting the tune on the Gen 2 Coyote in my Factory Five MK4 and fixed the emergency brake that wasn't holding. Nice to know there's a dependable shop close to home and a good bunch of guys to work on my car.

Steer clear of this auto shop. I brought my car in for an oil leak repair, HEI distributor installation, tune-up, exhaust leak check, and brake pedal fix a couple of months ago. It took them a month just to start working on it. Midway, they tried to upsell a performance intake manifold at double its retail price, though they eventually matched the retail cost after I protested. Despite this, I was charged for two tuning sessions. Over a month later, when I came to collect my car, I was shocked by a $5,000 bill. They had tuned my car twice, before and after installing the manifold, totaling $2,000 for tuning alone, and provided a dyno sheet as proof.Upon leaving, my car backfired, wouldn't move, and eventually stalled. The brakes were still soft. After barely restarting it and returning to the shop, the owner and I discovered the car ran poorly and the alternator was on fire. This issue likely arose because they removed the motor for the oil leak repair, affecting the alternator. They suggested another repair, quoting $500 for a new alternator I found for $70 nearby. They charged $250 for labor after another week.Afterwards, the car still performed poorly, with hesitation and backfiring. The owner speculated a clogged fuel filter or needed adjustments to the accelerator pump, despite the $2,000 spent on dyno tuning. I took the car home, only to find more problems like coolant leaks, throttle linkage that was not bolted in, they cut out the wiring for my electric fan, and paint and trim damage from what looks like something spilled on my car. After further DIY repairs, I discovered they had swapped two ignition wires, causing misfires. Fixing this improved performance, but acceleration hesitation is still there. I ended up diagnosing and fixing issues myself, despite paying heavily for professional service. They likely never performed the promised tuning. Avoid this shop unless you like being cheated.

Very Polite, able to set it up so it worked on my day off. Asked for the VIN number to make sure he had the correct parts prior to bringing in. Appreciate the professional aspect and happy with the work. Less than what the dealership was going to charge for maintenance. I highly recommend them.

Finding a reliable and professional mechanic can be a process when you have an older vehicle that needs love in the right spots, i found these guys through google and gave them a shot based on the reviews i read. I was given calls for every procedure they wanted to do, for parts needed to be ordered, faults they found; i got to the point to where i trusted the work they felt was necessary and let them make the decision, i was still called to verify. Rick, Brett and the rest of the team handled a laundry list of work in a very reasonable amount of time. diagnosing problems as they would occur and dumbing it down to my level. i dont write reviews often, but im 2k miles in with no faults, issues or concerns. i abuse my truck, rev it out, throw it in 4x4 in mud and it is now rock solid. if youre looking for a main mechanic to trust, these are your guys. you may be paying a little more but buy once cry once. you wont be disappointed. Thanks guys

Well, I'll tell you what...is your car sad, worn out, used and tired just like your love life? No need to fret, just have those calender models over at Trans Masters fix up your ride. Not only have they thoroughly fixed whatever issues my vehicles may have, but they also repair other things that may end up causing issues in the long run, just like my ex-wife. Unlike the demon I married though, I'm absolutely thrilled about hopping in my truck and taking it for a muddy spin after these guys give it the Trans Masters touch.

They said they would check my turbo for free then made me sign something saying they would only charge me if they cant fix it. Then i call and they say my part is going to be $800 more then it normally costs. I asked why and he says “well tax & shipping, im like what $800 for tax and shipping what are you talking about?? They dont know what they are talking about…They must be outsourcing parts…I also asked for a oil change and they didnt even work on it. They did the most minimal work they could do, not a good deal here.
