This is a pretty cool company. When you have a question about a product they have really streamlined and simplified the process. You can go to their website or just Google their name and start texting an employee on what product you want. They are real quick on what they have with product types and pictures and pricing. They will tell you what is in stock etc. I went to the store on Vulcan Avenue in Encinitas and the place is very organized and well stocked. All of the employees are very polite and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend this place.

The staff is helpful. I bought another bag of smooth decorative landscape stones, the same as I purchased 4 years ago. I was not too happy about their policy of asking to see i.d. even though I was paying cash! It wasn't like that before when I purchased.

Update from my previous review from the encinitas location. We received a call from the regional manager Kiko about our bad experience. They talked about what could have been done better and how it was going to get fixed. My husband was very happy with the call since the regional manager took the time to reach out and find out the problem. My husband usually just stops doing business with places after he gets bad service but seems he will be going back.

The loaders in the yard and the counter staff were extremely helpful on my gravel trips recently. From the job site it's worth driving a little further to get great service I'll be a repeat customer.

We had an issue with our order due to a 3rd party vendor. The product delivery was delayed by a significant amount of time. Shane and RCP were awesome at resolving the problem. When you invest a lot of money in a project, you want to make sure it's with a reputable company. RCP is that company. I would recommend them for large or small projects.

These folks are awesome! Staff at both the Encinitas and Escondido locations were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The stone product was exactly what we needed, and they went above and beyond to fix an issue with the size of the stone delivered not matching what we originally saw in their yard. Great business!

We went to the Escondido location to pick up one more bag of rocks. They were out but called the Encinitas location and let us know they had them and told them I was one my way from Escondido to pick them up. I also called on the way to let them know I would be arriving at 4:05 and if it was an issue because they were closing that I would pre pay and they could leave the rock outside for all of five min. They refused and literally shut the door on me after driving one hour thru heavy traffic to get there. I wouldn't even give them one star for such horrible customer service. I guess the fact that I had just spent a mint there meant nothing to them just as customer courtesy means nothing to them.

Every time I go to RCP I am impressed by the service, especially the guys working the yard. My questions are always answered, and I never feel like what I am asking is a bother to anyone. I know that doesn't sound like a victory, but it seems that good old fashioned customer service largely died with Covid.
