Very poor customer service. Did not follow my desired shipping company. They chose a different company and now my package is listed as in transit for 85 days and stuck in customs. Mailed May 30th 2023 and today is August 24th 2023. Do not use this Postal Annex.

Without getting into the personal details - I am left feeling super disappointed in my experience dropping off an important package for a DHL pickup, with very little communication and poor energy from the both of the workers that assisted me in the transaction. Don't feel comfortable dropping off a package here again.

Terrible place. Owner randomly leaves during the day all the time and leaves customers waiting for a long time. Avoid at all cost.

I arrived a few minutes before 9am to drop off a package so I could be there when you opened. The store didn't open until 9:10am, which made me late dlr my appointment. Another person was also waiting and ended up leaving. If you want to open later, totally ok, but please post hours to reflect your true open time so we can plan accordingly.

That feeling you get when walking into a business that the trip was a waste of time. I assumed that the primary function of this business is shipping, and granted I had one unusually sized item out of three, but clearly there was zero desire to package and ship any of it. Encinitas has many shipping choices, so I will simply drive into town. Lost opportunity.

Ruben helped me to print a lengthy document I needed for a project. He not only printed it, but helped me to format it all correctly and let me stay a few minutes late to use the cutting machine on site afterwards. I had to be there for about an hour total, and was able to pull together exactly what I needed. It was the best customer service I have experienced in years - maybe ever. I don't usually write reviews, but had such a great experience I had to share. Thank you, Ruben!

I dropped off a labeled UPS box. All they had to do is give it to UPS. They gave it to FedEx. Fedex returned it to me with sticker over the UPS label stating: "Delivery Refused because other carrier label". I called Postal Annex to see how this was possible. She said they use the same cart, so someone just got it mixed up. No apologies, just drop it off again for UPS. Never again! There is another annex across the street by 7-11.

Went to this annex to buy a large envelope and mail it to Seattle. It ending up taking nine days with first class mailing to get there instead of the normal 3 to 5 days because it required additional postage. The gal that was helping me was also taking care of her baby behind the register and was very distracted. As the customer I was definitely not the most important person in the room nor was she giving me accurate information on the actual postage required. Much prefer and trust the site on Encinitas Boulevard.
