On April 12, 2019, I rented a Penske Truck to haul a BMW hood from SF to SD. The truck was clean, had a full tank of gas and most importantly, had awesomely comfortable seats! I've never driven a truck before but this was a icee of cake! The truck brakes were perfect! It was quiet and ran great! The air conditioner was amazing too! What a difference between this truck and a UHaul truck. I drove straight through only stopping for stretching breaks. The price is what impressed me the most. With insurance, it was $584.00. The rear view and side mirrors made me drive with confidence. I wouldn't go with any other truck rental company than Penske. They have quality trucks and I felt very safe driving through Los Angeles traffic in it!

Just spoke with a customer service representative named Rich at the San Marcos store and boy! was I impressed with the customer service! In these days of adequate or inferior service, a well spoken and informed person is certainly a treat. Rich was able to answer all my questions with no "ums" or "let me ask my manager". I was able to secure a truck for my needs quickly and painlessly. If the truck pick-up process is anything like the reservation process I'm in for an easy day! Great Job!

Very disappointing experience. I've rented hundreds of Penske trucks and this by far has been the worst experience. While Picking up the truck there was mass confusion as to what truck to give me and where it was. Then at drop off they make you park the truck 1/5 mile away, come in to the store, give them the key, then you wait for 20-30 minutes and they slowly walk back to the truck yo check millage etc... very slow and very poor service. Home Depot should stick to what they are good at. Retailing...not renting penske trucks.
