I called, dude spoke only Spanish. Hung up on me but they were open until 7pm so I figured it was a communication issue and he thought I was done talking. I drive 30 minutes further from where I was originally only to be told they can’t help renew my registration. Thanks for wasting my time and gas

Completely misleading! Hours posted are NOT hours for DMV business. Arrived at 3pm (posted hours are 12:30-7) and was told “No DMV business now” THAT SHOULD BE POSTED ONLINE! What a waste of a trip.

I went here because I never received my registration stickers in the mail. Tried going to the DMV for the replacement and the system went down. I was in and out of La Casita in no time. There was no line, no wait, no issues. Bring cash for your transactions. It is worth the convenience fee.

I'm an Encinitas resident, my car registration was due (with mandatory smog certification) and my car was out of State. I spoke to Fran at La Casita DMV. She was knowledgeable and pleasant and advised me how I could easily handle the situation. I received fantastic service and recommend that location to others who are in need of DMV help.

This center does a great job. My case was registration and license plate order for an out of state car. Fran gave good advice on the phone before I head out to her center and I knew exactly what documents are needed and how long it will take me to get it done. Absolutely recommend this center.

My wife and I moved to CA from VA and had to register our vehicle in CA. I had called the DMV who told me to do it online, but then denied it and said I had to come in but that I couldn’t make an appointment. So I googled DMV locations and this place popped up, and going here was the best decision I’ve ever made. Fran was super friendly and knowledgeable, she walked us through the process and in 20 min I was done. The prices are completely reasonable when you realize how much time she saves you from having to waste at a DMV, and time is far more valuable. Go here! Don’t bother with the DMV, you will not regret it.

Value- Exceptional Service- Knowledgeable!Fran and her team at LaCasita exceeded my expectations. I was dealing with what the DMV said was a difficult and unusual situation. Fran was extremely knowledgeable about title transfers from out of state as well as transfers of title upon death and all applicable California registration details.The small fee that I paid was well worth the price. I spent hours at the DMV. Fran handled my case in minutes. Dispute her clear direction with what I needed, I showed up lacking some documentation as well as forms incorrectly filled out. Fran was patient and calmly helped me revise the paperwork and stayed late to allow me to retrieve what I left at home.I will always return to support this local business. The owners treat you like family and make everything easier in a fraction of the time a DMV visit takes.

This place is amazing. I read all the reviews, but I was still skeptical. Turns out they're spot on. I came in with out of state plates and an out of state title thinking I'd probably not get this done in one day. Spoke to Francesca and walked out in 10 minutes with new plates/tags and my new title being mailed to me. You know when you're at the DMV for 6 hours and you're like "I'd pay $300 to just be done with this"? This is the place for you. It was expensive yes, but worth every penny to have the process over and done with in minutes. I was the only one there around 5pm and they're open till 7pm. As the other reviews mention, it's cash-only so bring a good amount with you. Francesca was super cool and helpful with the process and I couldn't recommend her and this business more. Thank you!

Fran is Awesome!! I was in and out with my Tags and Registration In under 5 mins. The small fee for the service definitely beats wasting my whole day off at the DMV. Time is money. Don’t waste your whole day at the DMV!! Go see Fran at La Casita. Thanks again Fran.

Very helpful and amazing service. It’s way faster and a million times more helpful than the normal DMV. I completed a title transfer and got my car registered here within minutes. I had an excellent experience here and I highly recommend going here for any of the DMV services they offer. Just make sure you don’t forget to bring cash (they have an ATM w/ a $400 withdrawal limit and banks are very close by). Thank you again for being so polite and helpful!

Hands down the BEST "DMV" experience ever. My son and I visited Fran at La Casita Reg around 5:45pm this evening. He had an out of state truck he purchased from a dealer in CO that he needed to do a title transfer for, a vin verification, and of course CA registration. It was not busy so we were helped right away and we were in the truck driving away at 6:02pm! Fran was very knowledgeable and helped answer our questions as well as quickly work through the paperwork. Remember to bring cash, but outside of that, it truly was a great experience. I don't mind spending a few bucks to help a local business AND save a trip to the DMV (with the long waits, aggravation, etc). Well worth the fees in my view! Thank you Fran!!
