“This was our 3rd stay at Leucadia Beach Inn! This is a comfortable, clean, accommodation that is very near many local eateries/coffee shops and a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed morning walks to cafes and evening walks to the beach to watch the sunset. The gentleman that oversees the place is extremely friendly. The room has a kitchenette. We highly recommend staying here and we will always rebook when we return to the area.”
“Motel is in need of some upgrading or renovation, but generally a nice place to stay. Quiet, friendly, very convenient to beach and town. Patio with grill is useful and they have beach equipment to borrow. Staff is great.”

“We stayed at Alila Marea Encinitas for our babymoon and it exceeded every expectation. We absolutely loved our room—beautifully designed, peaceful, and the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. We truly rested and relaxed, which is exactly what we were hoping for.
The heated pool during our stay was amazing and made lounging outside even better, especially with the ocean views. Every detail of the property felt thoughtful and luxurious without being over the top.
We also want to give a special shoutout to Milad, our valet driver and bellman. He was incredibly professional, always greeting us with a genuine smile and positive attitude. He consistently opened our car doors, escorted my wife and me into the property, and made us feel so well taken care of. To top it off, he even brought us chairs and towels down to the beach for sunset, which made the experience unforgettable.
Thank you to the entire Alila Marea team for making our babymoon so special. We can’t wait to come back.”

I had an amazing experience at this location thanks to Jack and Bella at the front desk. They were incredibly accommodating, went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable, and were genuinely friendly and welcoming. What stood out most was how kind and playful they were with my dog, Legend — they made us both feel right at home. It’s rare to meet staff who are not only professional but also truly warm-hearted. Thank you both for making my stay so smooth and positive. Highly recommend!”

“Room was great except for the shower itself. Like, it was recently renovated, but the renovation could have been better. The best part of the room was honestly the sound deadening of the outside. Our room faced the freeway and you couldn't hear anything unless is was right at the door.
The complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious. The pool - although a bit small - was kept clean as well.
Being on the 3rd floor, have a great view of the ocean.
Overall, the hotel was a great experience to my overall trip.”
