I recently visited Encinitas Animal Hospital with my pet, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming. The clinic was clean and well-organized, which immediately put my pet at ease.
Dr. Ullman was thorough, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to answer all of my questions and explain the treatment options in detail. I never felt rushed, and my pet was treated with the utmost care and attention.
Overall, the service was excellent, and I left feeling confident that my pet was in great hands. I highly recommend Encinitas Animal Hospital to anyone looking for top-notch veterinary care!

Love this place!! We came to Encinitas Animal hospital as a second opinion after our old vet had told us that our puppy needed an expensive surgery. Dr. Sandy told us that what was being proposed wasn’t necessary and was able to help our pup in a much less invasive way. Our puppy is healthy and happy and we switched immediately!!
I love how the staff always remembers our pup and is genuinely so excited to see us. Dr. Sandy is so calming and loving and good with her and gives good advice on what is necessary vs. not. I appreciate how she doesn’t overprescribe.

Dr Ullman (Sandy) and her team are amazing! Jessica, Stacey and all her crew have been taking care of several of my animals for the last 20+ years. We have brought new puppies and kitties and she has helped us with our aging dogs as well! She walked my daughter through the process of euthanizing our 20 year old Booshki Shivers with grace and compassion when it was finally his time! We highly recommend Encinitas Animal Hospital! ♥️♥️

I’ve been taking my dog Maya here since she was one year old, and I’ve been very happy! All the vet tech are loving and kind, (especially Jessica) as well as Dr. Sandy! I love that they truly care. Any issue my dog Maya has ever had, she has always been taken care of.

I would give 0 stars if I could. But Google won't allow it. Don't bring your pet to this place. Unless you want your pet to get worse that you have to get your pet to the Emergency Hospital. I can't describe it: incompetence, recklessness or just simply stupidness or ignorance. Yes! I am sure. Dr. Sandy Ullman. My Name is Arturo Koosau. Mia got worse because of your neglect, ignorance or just incompetence. Thankfully she is still alive! She's 18 yrs old now. Mia was 16 yrs old when you last saw her. Mia would be better now you IF you had done what good doctors would have done. Clueless and stupid.

Have always been great at taking great gentle care of my Ramu cat.Starting at the front desk with a smile and promptness to Dr Ullman coming out after treatment to talk to you. Really feel like we're special there.

Sandy and her team are the BEST! I've been going to Encinitas Animal Hospital for years! They have been amazing with all three of my Goldens. Sandy came to my home to help me with Scooby's final moments which I will never forget. They love both Wally our newest rescue Golden Bailey. We are lucky to have them!
