Also known as America's Tire. Clean facilities, very helpful staff. No matter where you are they take care of you. Fix flats,new tires, rims. NO alignment. Go back every 5-6 thousand miles for free tire rotation and balance. Nothing to say but good things about this company. Lifelong customer.

I have been coming here for years. They have always been quick and easy with great customer service. They have plenty of inventory of different styles and tires to choose from, and great warranties as well. Edward helped me out today, and I’m really happy with my new tires (and windshield wipers)!

Wonderful experience here...efficient, friendly and reasonable! I am super impressed by this Discount tire....I will even come here over Costco due to my experience and that says a lot for me. They reallly earned my business! I felt taken care of by them...thanks!

Just disappointed. Been going here years and this last time may have just been my last. Went in for a tire rotation and was told to make an appointment or wait and leave my car. Well no I'm not leaving my car for a 3 hr wait. Call me when it gets closer and I'll right over. Nope, won't do that leave it or make an appointment. Ok fine I'll make an appointment. I get to my appointment just to have the kid tell me they WONT rotate my tire because they're too low on tread, "won't make a difference, but I suggest buying new ones" Seriously?! I just wasted my Saturday afternoon to be told this? Why didn't the first guy check this out before hand? I could have kept my plans with my family intact that day. I was only in town for the week.
Lazy and rude guys.

Free Tire Repairs, with all the construction going on in Encinitas and "everywhere else", my husband and I have had 3-tires repaired in the last 4-months due to nails and screws being picked up when we drive!! This sucks, but if you need a repair Discount Tire is the place to go. Wonderful service, friendly staff and not much if any of a wail.

Great service. They are always pleasant and do everything they can to get your tires fixed quickly. Since the pandemic though, you MUST use their appointment system or you are at the back of the line. Go online to book; plan ahead if you're able to.

Absolutely exceeded expectation! I was about to drive 2 hours home when my dangerously low tire pressure warning came on. I called this Discount tire and they were very helpful over the phone and said to come on over. Everyone I spoke with on the phone and once I arrived was so friendly and helpful and I was able to get all 4 tires changed right then within 45 minutes. Everyone was very professional and kind during a stressful situation and I'm extremely grateful for the removal of the nail-infested tire.

Didn’t align the hubcap with the tire air valve when they put the new tires on. This is so dangerous preventing the tires from being filled. Pay attention please.

One of my beliefs is,"We all make mistakes, it's taking ownership and fixing it without excuses". A series of little problems was dealt with and repaired.It's so rare in today's corporate world. I'm now a fan of Discount and will tell all that want to hear it.

The people here are always professional and friendly. It makes it a joy to come here and spend money... sometimes on tire rotations and nails in tires, you pay nothing. Well run business in my opinion.

Dropped my car off around 12 noon, stating that I had AAA pump up my tire 5 minutes away so I could drive over, as I was sure I had a flat. The person helping me said they would get me helped by 1:55pm, which I felt was really long considering how many people are working versus 2 people waiting. At 2pm, I asked the supervisor about my car....to which he apologized and said they must have forgotten to tell me it was "done."I was called to the counter, where they said I could buy a new tire but patching it wouldn't be possible. After considering my options, I did a price match...which is when the guy helping me had a full change of attitude. He then told me he would accept the price change but that my new price wasn't even legit, since it was for a used tire and not a new tire. I showed him 3 places on the website, where it has said "new" tire, not that it even mattered. I left paying a little under $200 and being in there 3 hours.Also, I left my very plain Travelers cup in the lobby. I had a friend call to see if they could hold it for me, but they told me it wasn't there. I called back 2 minutes later and thankfully she supervisor apologized to me and said he was trying to wave me down, while I left, so I didn't forget it, when he was on a phone call.

I got a flat tire while on vacation in Carlsbad CA. Friends suggested Discount tire in Encinitas for a spare tire. Drove there and was able to get a brand new tire in a couple of hours. They have a nice waiting room and the store is right on an outside mall so I went across and did a little shopping while I waited. I was very happy with the service and the product. However, when I got back to Los Angeles I found that the tire they charged me $495 for (Mercedes run flat) would have been $425 at my regular store in LA, Loyola Tire near LAX. Anyway, it is an emergency and Discount Tire served me well.
