Thinking about banking at Chase? Think again! Chase will hold your money from you for wasting hours of your day after months on deposit and years of untested banking relationships. THEY WILL LET YOU DOWN! Visit multiple branches like I did, and finally find one hopeful manager, only to still be denied access to your own money. Lost time, patience, and in my case a rare collectible car that I have been looking for for years. Beware and bank elsewhere. I would give this branch 4 stars for "try" but 0 stars for "do", and as a professional in a demanding industry I know that that would get me... 0 results, 0 CSI. Looking forward to putting a "0" on and closing all my acounts while spreading the word about this company's "system" issues and made up access requirements.

I am shocked that Chase allows this branch to operate this branch. I always think of Chase as a premier banking institution, but this branch is the black sheep of the Chase family. I went in to convert some money in savings paying .1% interest to a CD, and the manager highly recommended that I speak to a personal banker and promised that she would email me the next day. 2 months later I went to the branch to wire money and also spoke with the manager because I never got that call. I spoke with the new manager and was told that the manager I spoke with moved to another branch. The new lady promised to put me in touch with the banker the next day. The same thing happened and nobody had reached out. I feel like they do not want me to make wise investments and prefer to keep my money in cash to pad their reserves since they are not paying interest on it. In addition I was qualified for some premium account with upgraded benefits and nobody had ever brought this up to me. I am not sure if these people are devious or just stupid.

They have to keep everything very hard. I’m seeing on the screen what is needed for opening a bank account, but then they want extra stuff for address proof. Poor service. I told everything that I’m waiting to receive my green card and showed all legal papers, my temporary green card stamp on my passport. It shouldn’t be this hard, kinda pushing out the immigrants. I won’t open a bank account with them. Just gonna do Wells Fargo again.

I would give zero stars if I could. Today an elderly friend of ours who has Alzheimer's disease freaked out on her care giver inside the bank. As this friends POA (power of attorney) we get a call to come down there immediately. Well...they pulled said friend into a back room, wouldn't let us see her, questioned us like we were criminals, and after having already learned about her diminished capacity HAD HER FILLING OUT FINANCIAL FORMS IN THE BACK ROOM!!! The branch manager was a piece of work! He called the care giver's behavior aggressive. Bullshit! She was terrified because they wouldn't release her paycheck and they weren't communicating effectively or politely. In fact they were they opposite of polite! We have never been so mistreated or outrageously discriminated against so openly before in our lives! I understand that banks have an obligation to protect elderly clients financial interests against scams and fraud but not EVERYONE who is a POA is running a scam! Taking care of an Alzheimer's patient is grueling! These uptight bank people have no idea what we have gone through with this woman!!! We tried some basic memory questions to "prove" how diminished she really is! The branch manger was so so rude! And coldly said "I'm sorry but I can't allow you to ask her that!" WTF?! We already know the answers to these questions we've been caring for her for years! Finally, a family member brings all the paperwork. No apology, no "oh I'm sorry we misread the situation and caused to all to leave work in the middle of the day and treated you like criminals". Nothing. Just gave the paperwork back to us and said to resubmit it to the back office...again... (we've tried that! They were equally rude and unhelpful!) Worse bank in Encinitas if you have a loved one with diminished capacity steer clear!

DONT GO TO THIS BRANCH! They faxed all my ID information to the main office/Corp and it never made it... where it went who knows. Anxiously waiting for a response on resolving my issue.

I deposited a insurance claim check at this bank on oct 28, 2021. The check was from interinsurance exchange of the automobile club and the sum was above 10000.00 $. On or around the 5th of nov. 2021 I noticed my online access had been restricted with my atm card. Because they didn't approve my check. My online payments have not cleared causing charges to my billing accounts . I have had absolutely no help, their customer service phone lines are nothing more than lip recording's. No one wants to be put on hold until the battery dies on the phone. I can't pull my money out of CHASE BANK fast enough. Is there legal recourse against this institution ? Warning chase Bank is listed one of the worst I was reading I rated only so I can express my anger. Anybody else have this problem I would take another avenue.

Well I had 2 checks fraud entry cashed into a Chase bank through the mobile banking app and went into this branch where they were extremely helpfully in fining the claims and told me how I'd recover the money. I have not been able to recover it yet and called again to get it resolved, but now I'm being told the complete opposite that I was told the first time. This has been extremely frustrating and I wish all bankers were in the same page and when fraud is reported it's handled in the matter you're told it will be handled in. With everyone in different pages, I will never use this branch again and am writing this to warn you to use a different branch. Who needs help from a chicken with its head cut off!! BE WARNED!!!

I experienced wonderful customer service at this location today - to the point that I am writing a review! Everyone that I spoke to was very helpful - I spent the most time with Campbell and would recommend his assistance to anyone!

Bad person The Lead Independent Director on the Board of Chase, Lee Raymond, has been on Chase's Board 33 years. Raymond used to be the CEO of ExxonMobil. He funded climate science denial. #ExxonKnew--did Chase? #DigitalChaseTakeover #TakeoverChase

Aside from same complaints as everybody else on here....Manager Ramon doesn't even bother to return phone calls. Bank elsewhere *Especially if you're a high-value client. Their "Private Client" services are all hot air -- zero ability for your 'Private Banker' to do anything when issues arise. Worse than useless. Go to a bank that isn't so big that they actually do care about you AND have the power to affect things that are of vital importance. I will be filing claims with DOJ, consumerfinance.gov, federalreserve.gov (our new director of this Dept goes after them!), the SEC, and various other federal and State of California agencies. If you have just cause, do the same.

Don't do business with them!!! Stay far far away. They seem to think that your money is their money. I have had the run around for six months now even after I produced a Court order they still gave myths runaround. The only thing that they have done is to train their employees to say is that "I need to send this to our legal Department " Six months later and big big surprise,, no call from the infamous LEGAL Department. So wondering where they obtained a law degree????? Or do they even exist?
