Due to a family emergency, we had to board our sweet 16 year old cat for almost 3 weeks. Faced with leaving our fur-baby with a stranger, I couldn't recommend Lance and Cat-Villa more! The kindness and attention to detail was amazing. The accommodations also made leaving our beloved family member a bit easier. I highly recommend Cat-Villa to anyone.

Lance provides the most comfortable, safe, clean and swanky place for cats. My cat is extremely shy and this was the first time she had been boarded. Lance was patient, caring and even sent my photos with updates during her stay. I felt she was very well cared for and it gave me assurance that she was content. I highly recommend the cat villa!!

Clean and affordable safe place to leave your cat. I had to take a last minute trip, and was able to secure a spot for my cat. Prof of vaccination is needed. My cat is very social at home so leaving her was not an option. The space is so cool for cats! Mine loved hanging out on the secure patio, and lots of places to climb if yours is a climber. I highly recommend!

The best! I was very nervous to leave my fur baby Coco for the first time at a boarding place, but Cat-Villa exceeded our expectations. Easy communication, updates on our baby with pictures, and flexible when our flight was posted due to weather. Thank you for taking great care of baby while away.

Had a great experience boarding our rescue cat for almost 11 days, when we went to pick her up she was very relaxed, and was reluctant to come home with us, I think she really enjoyed herself and the company of all the other cats, despite the shelter saying she didn't like other cats. When we got her home she spent days wandering around and howling I think she was missing her other cat friends. !! Highly recommend. I tried to send you a text the day after we got back Lance but the phone kept telling me the number was wrong. Anyway it was lovely, and Kitty thanks you !!

Lance was awesome. He sent text updates with pictures. That meant a lot because it was the first time we ever boarded our cats. Also, they have a cool set-up there with the atrium where the cats roam freely and interact with other cats. Highly recommend.

A calm and peaceful place for your kitties to stay while you're traveling. My cats needed more attention and so I chose to have them go here rather than hire cat sitters. Highly recommend!

I have left my kitty at the Cat-Villa numerous times. She loves it there. She loves socializing with the other kitties and she gets a lot of care from the wonderful, sweet owner. Highly recommend.

I drove a friend here to board her cat. Located in a residential area, in a private home.A walk down the driveway to the back entrance. $35 a nite.A big cat room, custom made for cats! A huge cat tree - an actual tree!All the cats roam around loose in the room & all were getting along really great! Each cat has its own sleeping quarters. Bring its blanket & food.All posessions are label & placed in marked bins.Really a cat paradise!1 wall is all glass with a view into the backyard.No stinky litter smell at all. Very clean! Really a cat paradise! A+

Our indoor only cat Fred got outside and returned home with a severe leg injury. After a prolonged hospitalization, that was concurrent with my husband's hospitalization, I decided to board Freddy as I was afraid he might reopen his healing leg wound at home. I boarded Freddy at Cat Villa in Encinitas where Freddy received loving, much needed attention, and additional time to heal under the watchful eyes of Lance and the other human caretakers at Cat Villa. Cat Villa is cleverly decorated with cats and humans in mind. It even has an area where the cats can feel they are outside yet be 100% safe from injury or attack. I received frequent updates and photos of Freddy while he was boarded. There was no question ever in my mind about the wonderful quality of care and love being provided for our Freddy. Freddy came home yesterday and is already missing his new cat friends and the human friends he has made at Cat Villa. I would board Freddy here again and again without hesitation.

This place could also be called the Feline Zen Garden. It's so peaceful, and all the cats are so relaxed. They all seem to adjust to being part of the group within a few hours. And then they have such a nice patio to enjoy. Very happy that I found this place! Lance has been very kind and very patient with all my questions!

Unresponsive to email and calls. Are they even open?I'm searching for a cat only hotel and cat villa sounds good on paper. Lol

I could not recommend a better place to take your cat. We have been taking our two cats here for two years. Wilson and Furb always come home relaxed and there is very little transition time to them being back to their normal selves. We've boarded our cats elsewhere and they always come back terrified. There are definitely places closer to our home we could take them to, but we always prefer to drive 40 minutes each way to take them to the cat villa.
