Just a great place no complaints speedy breakfast large king rooms and no need to drive the beach is less then five minute walk enjoy the enchantingly beautiful scenery the sunset is amazing purely a great place to stay

I bought tickets to a show in Del Mar just wanted a place to stay nearby (I live almost 100 miles away). I found Brisa Pacifica via Google, and saw it was highly rated and reasonably priced. I was impressed with the cleanliness and service. This is a great place to stay. It's not a 5 star luxury resort with a spa (as many nearby places are... along with a nightly cost that's more than triple!), but it's an excellent, clean place to lay your head for the night. Will definitely come again if I'm in the area!

VERY bad experience. We reserved a room through Expedia, who reviews this hotel as 'excellent'. IT IS NOT.
Far, far from excellent. I give it one star. Why?
The hotel is dingy and when we arrived at our room, the bathroom stunk. There was a very bad smell which permeated the room.
We asked for a different room as it was impossible to stay since we did not bring our gas masks.
No other room was available. So we spoke to the manager who understood the situation, and we agreed to leave and settle the matter in the morning. We booked another hotel, which was quite inconvenient and costly.
The next day, we contacted Expedia as well as the hotel asking for a full refund.
After numerous phone calls to the hotel manager and numerous back and forth calls to Expedia, the refund was turned down.
CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS?
Definitely, this hotel is One star and Expedia is losing for not standing by their customer.
No apologies, no refunds.
Quite shocking.

Front desk staff was fantastic. Easy check in. Location is great. The room was great. I saw other reviews of people complaining about the towels so I brought my own but didn’t need them the towels were fine. We had a minor issue early one morning I called the front desk and they were there in less than 5 minutes to help us out. Definitely will stay again!

Had a lovely stay for one night. Great room, very comfortable. Check in was easy and very welcoming. Only thing they could be improved is the towels, small and showing their age. Otherwise highly recommend.

Anytime we are in Encinitas Ca we stay here. Both cost effective and clean. The location is the best part, as you are a 5 min walk from the stone steps and beach. Always a pleasure to stay.

It was a nice stay and a nice room! They were willing to price match, but weren’t willing to price match the lowest prices for that night, which was my only complaint, along with the lackluster breakfast.

I had a very pleasant solo stay at Brisa Pacifica. My six-day stay turned into a nine-day one because ice storms back in my Oregon town forced flight cancellations. After my first night I asked if an upstairs room would be available instead of one close to the parking lot. The staff cheerfully moved me to an upper room (tiny upcharge) with a view of the neighborhood, where I was for the rest of my stay. All the staff were helpful and friendly, the room was clean (daily cleaning unless you put out the do not disturb card), the continental breakfast was decent (I only wish they had more variety than just apples for the fruit), and the location was great for walks in the neighborhood and access to restaurants and some fun shops.
