BEWARE DMV services - I turned in a custom license plate for a standard one. One month later I get a citation notice for a parking ticket against the Plate number issued After I turned it in. Went to AAA for help twice - none (very indignant) and would not let me talk to a supervisor or manager. I suspect this is not a first occurrence. - BUYER BEWARE - while I have to contest this : (

I do not understand this company AT ALL. I was hit by another driver in November, and for over TWO MONTHS I had to continuously try to get ahold of the assigned agent: two+ months! They finally called and said I had to speak to the other driver's insurance company - WHAT?? So 4 days ago another accident (not my yr; haven't gotten this many in my life), and they are STILL not calling back! I just do not get the people here. How is this even possible with such a huge business? This was their last chance to make it right and unfortunately did not, and have not. I will be reporting to the BBB and Insurance Committee as this is completely unacceptable.

I don't know about a certain location but I do know about their installation of car batteries. My dealer quoted me $620 for a new car battery. Wooo.They stated I would have to wait there for an hour and a half to complete. I called AAA they sent a truck out within 30 minutes. The truck had all kinds of batteries on it. The technician switched out my battery in 15 minutes gave me a warranty and charged me $207 out the door. What a fantastic savings! I also love that I didn't need to leave the house.

We come here to AAA to pick up our cars registration and rags, faster than the DMV. Other services include booking discounts on travel packages, cruises, maps and other services. They get pretty busy on Saturdays, sometimes 20-30 minute wait. Friendly service and helpful.

I selected this dental clinic based on Yelp reviews. It's not even in my insurance network and I paid extra because it was such a great experience. The entire staff is amazing from the knowledgeable front desk to the friendly assistants to Dr Salazar as my dentist. I was given a very thorough, practical, and logical course of treatment with photos, explanation, and no pressure. This may sound counter-intuitive but Dr Salazar took his time when replacing a crown and am now realizing the previous dentist rushed and screwed it up leaving a big gap. I really appreciated his attention to detail in shaping, fitment, and "dont need to do more than this" disposition. A dentist taking their time to demonstrate their skilled craft on your teeth is essential to your smile, comfort, and is worth it (like 30-60mins I mean... not a lot). I wish my last dentist told me "If it doesn't feel right in a couple days, come back and we'll fix it." Not a bit of pain (even for the Lidocaine), a relaxed setting, amazing technology and comfortable people with genuine conversation. The kind of practice that remembers you (I dont even care if they took notes LOL) I cannot believe I am saying this, but I truly look forward to my visits. Just really trustable, decent people there. I am a local in Cbad and I promise you that you will have a great experience at this dental office. It's amazing to feel liberated from past dental experiences. Thank me later. :)

If you want the office to answer your call, this is a service you should not expect. I have been trying to get someone to answer the phone during a time when they are discouraging people to come in to the office. You go with AAA for better service. This office is not it!!!

I have called in to the Encinitas office many times. As a longtime member, you have certain expectations, like...they answer the phone. I have had a very difficult time getting a hold of anyone on the phone at this office. It always goes to international help line. If you walk in the office, they take your name and tell you to wait for an undisclosed amount of time. Try planning your day around that. This office is shameful in comparison to other experiences I've had with AAA offices across the country.

Dr. Salazar and his entire team are excellent. The best dentist in San Diego. 5 years since I first came to Dr. Salazar and still very happy. I recommend everyone I know to Dr. Salazar.

Dr Salazar had dropped the ball this time. He had turned a chipped functioning tooth into a painful sensitive and non-functioning tooth. I was able to use the right side to bite, eat and drink without issues despite the chipping. After the crown treatment by Dr Salazar, now I have to take pain killers, ice the tooth at night, and unable to even take a sip of room temperature water or brush my tooth without experiencing a great level of sensitivity and pain. Dr Salazar had repeatedly told me this would not happen after the temporary crown was replaced with permanent crown. I have been a dental patient since I was very young and had multiple crowns done by many different dentists over decades. Unfortunately and sadly this was the absolutely the worst experience I had. Dr Salazar also was unsympathetic and unprofessional when I finally spoke with him after the office holidays closure today. His recommendation is for me to have a root canal. My good tooth after a tooth crown somehow requires killing the nerve and root canal. I am very unhappy and unsatisfactory with Dr Salazar's skill and professionalism and hope no one else has to experience what I had been thought in the last couple months. With my employer metlife dental insurance, I still paid over $900 out of pocket - this amount was a few hundred dollars over insurance recommended payment amount for crown per the insurance statement. I was promised by Caroline at the front desk a refund of the difference via check before the holidays but never received it. This just added on top of the bad procedure outcome. Today, when I suggested to Dr Salazar at Purely dental to refund me the out of pocket cost to compensate for the unfortunate outcome, the answer I received was a resounding NO. This is not the best use of my time but I feel strongly to share my experiences and feedback about Dr Salazar.

I went in for a filling this morning. The appointment was 7am, which was great to be able to go before work. I walked in and they had my paperwork to sign all ready. Two minutes later I was in the chair, and 20 minutes after that it was done. I walked out the door at 7:23. Also, he did a great job with the numbing shot. I barely felt the needle go in, and only the tooth numbed. I felt nothing during the procedure, and did not experience the annoying, lingering numbness over the entire quarter of my mouth that I expected. I couldn't be more satisfied.
