“Came here just before closing tonight. Never been here before but after reading the reviews figured I would come. I thought for sure my total would be a lot more than what it was, so that was great. It was a lot cheaper. I had a list and the guy asked me what can he get me I told him what I needed and he got everything. He basically did all the shopping for me here.. It is a nice place and he was nice, friendly, helpful, courteous, and very great. Another thing to note was that it was the cleanest Liquor store I've ever been in. If you've seen any of my other reviews then you know that I rarely give 5☆ to anywhere.”

“My favorite liquor store in town, owned by the nicest most amazing family! The owner is awesome and always a laugh! Right across from Corvellos Portuguese bakery go get you a linguisa sandwich and then grab a tall can from Varrios to wash it down. If your not from the 209 I highly encourage you to choose Varrios as your liquor store for the night if your in town, they always have the bottle I’m looking for so having to go elsewhere shouldn’t be a problem.”

“I didn’t know this place existed until I bought a bottled water at Gallo Center For The Arts in Modesto years ago. (Sadly, Gallo no longer sells Noah’s bottled water, as I just learned tonight 09/25/2021.) I am one who reads the details of labels. I saw the water is sourced from Adobe Springs, which I am very familiar with because I get water from that spring myself. The water has a high content of magnesium. In fact, it is the highest natural source of magnesium in water than any other natural source in the US.”
“Today I stopped by to give a try to Sinclair gasoline, found out very convenient promotion that can save you 20c per gallon using the mobile app, I will give an update about fuel quality, but I feel confident because Sinclair is in the business since 1916”

“I have always liked this place they have a little bit of everything. If you are planning a party you can find everything here. Another reason why I like this place. You can find the best rum in the world. Flor dé Caña from Central America Nicaragua.
If you love rum you should try this Flor dé caña. Remember the older it's the liquor the best and smooth it will be. I recommend the Flor dé caña 7 years and older. They have 12 years old and 25 years old. But you will not find the 25 year old at BevMo you will only find it at the airports .”

“As far as fast places to stop and go this was a nice one, next to the laundromat other small places, two driveways to get in and out and a taco truck that posts there, the liquor king is a convenient location to get some quick snacks, cold beer and make it back home in time for your favorite Netflix. These are my boys lol I lived around the corner from them for 6 years, the are cool as hell, I never needed to tell them what I needed when I would come in ? moved from Waterford to Manteca moved back this way one day I just came in after a year of being gone it took less than a minute when I walked through the door and there was two of my guys there, they recognized me instantly and were so excited to see me both ran up and hugged me lol made me feel so good. I love this place and love everyone who works here. Miss you guys, making me want to move back to waterford lol but I'll be by soon to say hi again?”

“I went to nearly all local liquor stores and gas stations in my town. And could find what I wanted. I even called one place and said I don't want to have to go to BevMo.only becaouse the party was about to start.... and sure enough I had to go to BevMo where ofcourse they had what I wanted and a few other same liquor different brands. I should of came straight over here from the start. Save me gas time and headache.”

“Mom and Pop type convenience store. Owner and staff are very nice. They also sell gas and diesel...cheap!! On average about 40¢ less per gallon. Three weeks ago, I paid $4.63 per gallon. Last week it was $4.85. Gas is over $5 anywhere else in the Modesto/Turlock area. 2 blocks east, off of Sante Fe, on Yosemite Boulevard.Major savings if you're filling up and not that far out of the way.”
