“I went to this market for the first time to pick up a brisket for smoking. Scott, in the meat department, custom trimmed and packaged a very nice brisket. He was super helpful. The brisket was very good...will start source our meat from Village Fresh Market.”

These are my boys lol I lived around the corner from them for 6 years, the are cool as hell, I never needed to tell them what I needed when I would come in ? moved from Waterford to Manteca moved back this way one day I just came in after a year of being gone it took less than a minute when I walked through the door and there was two of my guys there, they recognized me instantly and were so excited to see me both ran up and hugged me lol made me feel so good. I love this place and love everyone who works here. Miss you guys, making me want to move back to waterford lol but I'll be by soon to say hi again?”

“I used to only go to the Oasis Grill out on Lander Ave in Turlock, but now that I'm living back in Modesto again, I stopped at this location for the 2nd time. While almost EVERYTHING looks good, I ordered what I always do, a large, two-meat breakfast burrito, Yum!”

“Love it here, prices are a little more expensive than where I usually shop, but some aren’t too bad and it’s super convenient that it’s in town. I wish they would fix the front door. So hard to shop with a baby and even just with a cart because you have to push it. I feel bad for older people as well. They’ve done a lot of remodeling and seem to be doing well.. hopefully they can budget for a new door soon.”
“I asked for 5 bucks in gas and added 50 cents to the gas purchase from the change left over from other stuff I purchased and the clerk made a mistake and put 55 cent on the pump I corrected the clerk and I went to pump the 4.95 that should have been on the pump and got squirrelled by a 4x4 and it's proud owner who bragged about it and 50 dollars later I noticed that I received a full tank they let me pay it back in full when my disability check came. Very good customer service and they are great for the neighborhood”
“Now it's a great store it's even better inside because the new people who bought it redid it the only thing I can say that I don't like is that I just miss the people who used to run the store that's it the new people that run it are great people and compared to other stores of the same type their prices are reasonable I just miss my old friends.”

“A small Mexican food market that's packed with everything one could need. They have a variety of hot food options. The carnicería (butcher area) has quality options of beef, chicken & pork. I like their dairy options of cheeses and sour creams. They also have ready made salsas, too. Their pan dulce (sweet bread) is yummy, too.”
