Needed to place a stop payment on a check, but according to the Manager, only a Banker can help with the paperwork. That’s fine, no problem. But I have to schedule an appointment with one. I asked if he could help, since he is THE branch manager. He said no because he has “other things to do.” Okay, thank you.

Left the branch in El Cerrito after waiting in line for over an hour. Came to this branch and noticed the line was empty. The banker told me they only have one teller and they won't be back until 2:30. I needed a money order and was pressed for time. I try to avoid going to the Emeryville branch because they are very slow due to only having one teller. This is an inconvenience and need more bankers

It's okay, only one teller working at the time of my visit.

Only one teller to help people with checking accounts and 4 salespeople to help you get signed up for a loan or mortgage. The wealth disparity is astounding. Wells Fargo is clearly not a bank for the average person.

Horrible. There was no line, 1 teller, at least 5 other associates not assisting other customers. Been in the bank over 10 minutes and the only help was to tell us to use the ATM to make multiple transactions. This branch is trash.

Truly terrible, disrespectful customer service. The manager, Sergio Mendoza, was the most unprofessional, unhelpful bank employee I've ever met. He was completely snide to me and my 88 year old mother over trying to get her recently-expired (1week) Id accepted--went to the dmv twice, for a temp ID and Drivers License, and then he wouldn't accept either because there was no expiration date on either, except for the dmv-certified date the temp expires. This is after we had given them every bit of other info, pin, credit card info, etc etc. that they needed. Amazingly bad service. When we left, I was having a hard time opening their double doors--no handicapped push button-to wheel my mom out in her chair, he didn't even help hold the door. Such a snide, unpleasant person, and absolutely no help at all with our banking needs. Another win for you, Wells Fargo.

One star for Wells Fargo customer experience and procedures. It's clear the associates are stretched this in this location. In order to close an account on behalf of a family member, I had to spend several hours in this branch, and on hold with Wells Fargo. I had three appointments, none of which started on time.Alejandra earned the extra stars at this location, as she there at the branch was on hold with me and did her best to expedite where possible. I had to deal with a personal banker in order to move some accounts around. Though I would not recommend Wells Fargo due to their inconsistent requirements through my process, I wanted to give Alejandra credit for helping me and my family out. Thank you.

Terrible service, I tried to apply for a second credit card with them. Their closing time was 6, I arrived at 4:30 and they didn't want to help me because they didn't have time and the bank was empty.

Came here to do my name change after getting married and was in and out in 15 minutes. Bitals and Sergio were very professional and gave great customer service. Let's be honest, it's the bank, it's probably not going to be the highlight of your day, but the employees here are knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. It's also in a super convenient location.

Relationships matter in a great way because I keep coming back to an awesome business banker named Sithiveth "Sity" Philavong and his team at Wells Fargo in Emeryville. They are super talented, always professional and looking for good smart ways to help your business. Just really authentic professionals that understands today's business professional.I ask a lot of questions, they help me. They reach out. They respond. Love the personal touch.

Horrible customer service. I have a skin condition and wear gloves all the time to prevent infection. Not only did I have a confirmed appointment and was told that I needed to wait for 40 minutes which was ridiculous but when I mentioned to the notary that I had a skin condition that precluded me from using the ink pad she told me she HAD to have a thumbprint so she couldn't help me. I know this is not true because I've had to use a notary before and did not have to use the ink pad. I'm thinking about filing an ADA complaint because certainly there are people who do not have use of their hands and cannot give a thumbprint and should be accommodated as I have been in the past.

This bank sucks. I tried to get change for 100, and they refused to do it because i didn't have a account with Wells Fargo. I was staying at four points Sheraton across the street.
