We just got a new puppy and our old sisal rug was just not going to work. We went to two carpet places in San Francisco and had no luck finding an inexpensive area rug that would work with our new puppy situation. We happened to stop in at the Rug Depot Outlet and found exactly what we needed. A nice area rug at a good price. Plus, the service was great. They were very helpful and helped us find 9x12 and 4x6 area rugs that matched and look great in our apartment. Would definitely recommend this place.

Hand-woven, wool rugs from Iran and the like are extortionately priced at this so-called Outlet. That being said, if you're keen on looking at rugs IRL, then I would recommend checking this place out. The shop is massive and the selection is fairly broad with area rugs, runners, prayer rugs and circular pieces. One can choose from the aforementioned fancy-pants rugs, machine-woven rugs, or synthetic rugs either sporting traditional designs or modern more patterns. Even if one isn't going to purchase from Rug Depot, it may be a good place to get one's feet wet, as it were, if wanting to learn about what's out there in the world of rugs. *Massive garden pottery 'outlet' directly across Hubbard that may be worth a look-see as well.

These folks have a great selection of rugs. Eduardo is extremely knowledgeable, patient and helpful. No pressure, just unobtrusive assistance and advice when you need it. They had plenty of options for folks like me on a modest budget, and plenty more for those on an even tighter budget or for whom price is not a concern. The last time I moved, around 10 years or so, I got my rugs here and was happy with my purchase. So when I moved again recently I returned and am glad I did. I will never get my rugs anywhere else.

Really great spot! We needed a rug for our new house and found the rug depot searching online. Those working there offered help, gave us the information we needed and then let us browse. We found the perfect rug and were on our way!

What a lovely shopping experience! I was gonna head over to ikea for a new rug and was cringing at having to go through a labyrinth to shop... I decided to take a look at the rug depot on the way and I don't regret it! Amazing selection of very high quality rugs that are very unique and reasonably priced, beautiful and airy warehouse and great costumer service! I got the rug carried out to my car! It might be a bit pricier that ikea but I got a better rug! Totally recommend this place.

I always drive by this place on my way to Ikea. I'm always intrigued by the size of the warehouse and the big banner saying they're having a sale. When walking in, the place is massive. They have a huge collection and plenty of space to view each rug. It was really empty when I came on a Saturday afternoon, with 4 workers standing around and asking if I needed help. When checking the price tag, I was quickly turned off. These rugs are super pricey. Even if they advertise 50% off, they must increase the price by 100% first because I can find cheaper rugs at IKEA, the flea market, Home Depot or anywhere else. Honestly, the quality of rugs are all the same and if I buy a cheaper one and it rips, I can easily buy another one. I wish this was cheaper because the assortment is nice but even in the Bay Area, the rugs are expensive.
