I've been trying to buy a kayak from these folks and every time I go to the shop, they're closed. No note, just lights off. Looks abandoned. I think they went out of business.

Their trial period should be longer than 30 days and they should offer some sort of trade in or exchange option. The haven I received is next to impossible to assemble and the support I received was substandard. I have yet to be able to use it and am just going to sell it on Craigslist. I wish I never bought this.

About Oru Kayak
We believe that connecting to nature is a deep human need —even for those of us who live in cities - and love exploring the world around us, and draw inspiration from all sorts of experiencesWe’re building a business, but our real goal is to change how people connect with the water.
We have lofty goals, but we’re also a bunch of fun-loving makers and doers. We recently moved from San Francisco to an old warehouse-style sewing factory in Emeryville, CA and are feeling quite at home in our quirky neighborhood by the water. On a shared block with Pixar, a small batch coffee roaster, and a vintage race car shop, there’s enough caffeine and creativity flowing to keep us stoked day in and day out. The Bay and the ocean are both a short hop away.
