I began training with Stone at OMP right around the new year (2023). My goal was to improve my functional strength, mobility, and flexibility to perform better in my sport, which is jiu jitsu. Since working with Stone, I have made noticeable gains in strength, movement, coordination, power, and range of motion. I've learned so many new exercises that hit muscles that I pretty much ignored for several years while weight training on my own. The progress I've made at OMP has improved my performance and confidence in jiu jitsu competition as well. I feel like I found what I was looking for so far and look forward to even more progress and gains as 2023 continues. I also appreciate how OMP is structured. It is a semi-private personal training set up, which means Stone works with everyone individually on their own program while his clients share the same space and equipment. It works well since everyone gets their own program with Stone's oversight, but each individual gets to work out autonomously unless they need assistance. Everyone I've met so far at OMP has been friendly as courteous too. A few months after I joined OMP, my wife joined as well and started her own personal program. We both highly recommend the facility and Stone as a trainer. Five well-deserved stars.

I've been training with Stone at OMP for over a year now, and he is a fantastic trainer. Before I started training with him, I had been doing bodyweight workouts for a year and had hit quickly a plateau. But with Stone's guidance and support, I've made significant progress in my strength and overall fitness.One of the things I love about OMP is the semi-private coaching option. It's the perfect balance between individual attention and affordability, as you get all the advice you need without the hefty price tag of one-on-one coaching. And the gym itself is spacious and well-equipped, with all the machines you need to get a great workout.But what really sets Stone apart is his calm demeanor and precise advice. He corrected my form on countless exercises and always had my workout program ready for me each day. With his focus on core work, slow weight progression, and proper form, I always felt safe from injury and confident in my ability to progress.Honestly, I never thought I'd enjoy lifting weights, but Stone has made it almost fun! And now that I'm confident in my form and ability, I've even invested in some home gym equipment. If you're looking for a supportive and effective gym experience, I highly recommend checking out OMP and working with Stone.

I've been going to OMP for about a year. Coach stone is detail-oriented and attentive. What you get: personalized coaching for your program, correction of your form (he is always watching), and understanding of your strengths/limitations. What you don't get: someone making you feel good for nothing. There's no fluff here and honestly it's that's what I and most people need to get themselves motivated. I've trained in every discipline you can think of: CrossFit, Muay Thai, bjj, oly, kettlebell, and pure power lifting. Coach is super well versed. Actually super impressed how he can teach me something with every cycle. You work, but at the pace you're currently at. TLDR; if you're serious about getting strong, tightening up your physique and crafting a habit to make sure you're consistent. This is the gym. Try it for a month. You will see results.

I've been at OMP for several months now and I'm really loving the semi-personal training style. I've been lucky to have wonderful trainers in the past to build my foundation on form and it feels empowering to be able to exercise that knowledge, knowing that if I need cues or feedback, Stone is just a few feet away. He's not counting reps for me, he's not yelling motivational quotes at me over loud music.. he's just there to set the programming, watch my form and answer my questions. That's all I need, and I dig that. I also really like that the programming evolves month to month. It's comforting to know what to expect when I step into the gym. This gives me time to build up my confidence in my form, and be witness to the growth and progress in my strength before progressing on to new exercises. It really does make a difference.The community here is also great - everyone is warm and friendly and it feels like a safe space. Stone's got a great sense of humor that usually sets the place off. As a music person, I also have to comment on the music - it's always good and on especially good days, sometimes you can catch Stone singing along. I highly, highly recommend OMP to anyone looking for a gym that values community, discipline, and individual empowerment!

Stone is very knowledgeable and will help push you towards your fitness goal. I started out at OMP just try to stay fit after college. Not only did I reach the best shape of my life, but I also learned so much about structuring my training program, correct form for a lot of exercises, and the winning mentality from his daily knowledge. The man is a beast. I would 10/10 recommend this gym. Sad that I have to leave OMP bc of relocation.

This is hands down one of the best training environments I have been in. Stone is a supportive and helpful trainer who makes sure to tailor workouts to the needs of the client. I struggle with a chronic condition that often limits my range of movement as well as lowers my threshold for activity. Stone is always understanding and flexible, working with my limitations carefully. Everyone at the gym is friendly and the community he has built makes workouts fun and comfortable no matter your ability. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a well designed workout program in a supportive setting.

I have had the opportunity to be trained by Stone for the past two years. He continues to provide me a space to channel life stressors through his customized, detailed workout plans. I've dropped two dress sizes and have been steadily loosing weight. It's a pleasure to be guided by someone who is passionate, experienced, and enjoys seeing individuals meet their fitness goals. I'm getting stronger with every work out!

This place is worth your money, and totally affordable. Stone will take your functional movement measurements, analyze your gait, listen to your goals/issues and come up with a custom routine just for your body. He's incredibly knowledgeable--I mentioned an issue I had gone to PT for, and he gave me some stretches to do regularly and the issue went away. I would never leave this gym if I wasn't leaving the bay, and I will definitely come back when I'm here to visit. Strong back/core = no more injuries! Thanks Stone!!

OMP is the best. This is a no-nonsense gym with the friendliest people. Stone is patient and kind, but will get you outside of your comfort zone to make you physically and mentally stronger. I've become leaner, stronger, and more resilient. Highly, highly recommend.

Stone is a great trainer and the exercises he designed were challenging but super fun! Atmosphere is super friendly and Shiba the dog also makes everything even nicer! I look forward to training every day. I'm so bummed that I couldn't go recently, but can't wait to return when the gym opens!

Wow! OMP makes it it easy to work out to strengthen and better your body! Their coaching techniques are phenomenal! If you want to learn proper exercise and live a healthier lifestyle, this is the place! They challenge you to reach your goals along with being very personable. They are so supportive and positive in everything they do with you. The trainers are amazing and know exactly what they are doing. Thanks guys!
