The store might be small, but it's bursting at the seams with an array of model kits that'll make any Gundam fan's heart skip a beat. “I highly recommend Jeff Brody. He is very knowledgeable about coins, fair in pricing and a fun guy to know. My dad kept a coin collection and we weren't sure of it's value or what to do with it. I called Jeff after getting a recommendation from a friend. He answered the phone when I called and invited me to his shop in Orinda. We spent a couple hours going through the collection while listening to an awesome playlist of tunes mostly from the 70s. My mom was so happy with the results - time well spent!”

Instead of charging a fortune, Jim actually taught me how to repair the paper cord on my used Danish chairs myself and only charged me for the materials used. He is a learned & encouraging teacher - grateful for his expertise and the opportunity to learn a new skill!”

“The person I worked with at the Berkeley location was so incredibly helpful. I've been painting on my own and decided that I should go ahead and enroll in a beginning painting class. I switched from one local community college to another. Unbeknownst to me that also meant I needed to go to the Berkeley Blick location instead of the Oakland one. They took it in stride and looked up the materials that I needed. I brought in what I'd gotten for the other class at the other college. I returned a couple of things, checked on what I had, and bought the things that I didn't have. The person helping me took a lot of time, and I really appreciated it.
