Amtrak train was great warm and inviting but when it got time to transfer from the train to the bus the lady ( bus 54 ) said my luggage wasn’t luggage and wouldn’t load it and then when I went to carry the smaller luggage said I would have to load it underneath at any which way I’d say hire someone more capable or at least capable of identifying luggage as luggage

I have been in many, many stations. This one is clean and well organized. Because it is in California, they have trains coming and going all the time. The staff are very helpful. I will say the PA system is the most ridiculous one I have ever heard. ?. It sounds just like Charlie Brown's teacher. ? Maybe just turn the volume down.... It's still a great station.

Very big, very spacious. I wished they had coffee, snacks, and hot food dispensing machines for the other hours when the coffee was closed. Would also be nicer if the chairs they have with the outlets ACTUALLY were plugged into a power source for those of us that need to plug and charge our devices.Otherwise, nice staff.

I'm surprised that there are absolutely no phone charging points anywhere in the whole of Emeryville Amtrak station. This is not only ridiculous but also cruel provided how important charging phone these days is.They should build at least a decent and peaceful waiting area for coach passengers. This station has worse amenities than some tiny stations in the midwest!Adding a paid shower ($20 per session) is good for both public and Amtrak!

Clean and safe. Employees are helpful. The station is large and well maintained. Near the tracks, an employee coordinates traffic and steers travelers around. Identifying the right train to board can be confusing as announcements may sound unclear through the speakers so you have to pay extra attention (and rely on the display board). Trains are not identified either so you pretty much just have to rely on selecting the right track, at the right time, going in the right direction and for employee guidance. The Zephyr train boards quite clearly but other trains stop for about 1 minute like an underground train so best to be prepared. A safe, well-organized station. Would return there any time.

Great Amtrak station. It's a really nice and big building with lots of space. Even though it was busy, it didn't feel that crowded. The place is clean and well-kept up. And the staff are helpful and give updates about the trains frequently. This is definitely one of the best train stations in the Amtrak network.

I love the ride to Emeryville and the Amtrak station is my favorite train station inside the station is so put together I like seating at there dinning area and when it is nice outside I like to go in the back yard were you wait on the train ride it reminded me of being in a small park with benches were you and your family can seat together and have lunch or just want to be by yourself and read it is so realistic relaxing and then they keep you updated on your train when it is getting close and remind you together all of your personal things before your ride reaches you everybody will love this station take a trip somewhere and just visit Emeryville Amtrak StationYou Will Love It,From Rofeira NealSafe trip to everyone.

Even though I don’t agree with the approach that bathrooms have codes to deter the homeless, I understand that such measures may be needed. But it is ridiculous to have to stand in line at the ticket windows to get the bathroom code. Luckily often there are no lines but when there are lines it is a problem. Some workers kindly lift the piece of paper readily to show the bathroom code when you need it so you don’t have to stand in line. But others refuse to do just that which is ridiculous. All it takes is a quick lift of a piece of paper. If this cannot be guaranteed to passengers any time nature calls, then a different solution is needed.

Long time since I've been on a train. But I guess you get what you pay for! Coach was not that great riding long distance may not have been the best choice , the seats were hard, the train was really Rocky and people going through the doors to use the restroom it was a bit annoying Plus a lot of cold air would blow in.But I do have to say that the conductors and the porters were wonderful gave great service being one of my friends and I not able to climb the stairs they brought are drinks and meals to us. And when we got off the train they help my friend and I with our luggage and ourselves???

Train from Emeryville CA to Denver CO. The staff was 5 stars all around. Special shout out to Richardo in the cafe car, excellent customer service, he goes above and beyond. Remembers his customers and makes you feel special. Even though it's an older train they kept it very clean. Our couch attendant Aaron was pleasant and helpful and excellent. Thank you both Ricardo and Aaron.Bad: we froze overnight and in the morning, you could feel a difference in our car walking to the other cars. This is why I only gave 4 stars.Cody the conductor at Grand Junction is great. Welcoming

It was adequate. It had a booking office, plenty of seating. Reason it did not get 5 was the Vending Machine had difficulty accepting my card. Card is Mastercard so pretty normal. Put card in and made my choice, nothing happened. Tried again twice more, now billed three times for a couple of packets if crisps. Be careful of venting machines.

Take Amtrak to Emeryville from most outlying places for a more restful ride and then using their connecting bus finish the trip to San Francisco with the drop off destination at 555 Mission St. You might have to wait an hour or so for the connecting bus to pick you up at the Emeryville Station and get you to Mission St but it is worth the extra effort to keep the congestion of vehicles reduced. From there you can take BART or buses almost anywhere.

Once I arrived here i had to find my way to the Oakland station. Finding the right bus is a little confusing. I took the wrong one but it worked out in my favor. ✔️
