Met Dr. Littlejohn when he was over with Dr. Stephen Sommer's medical practice on Piedmont Avenue. He was one of the better doctors in that practice. Glad to know he is back. Nothing has changed. Very personable. Spends a lot of time knowing you as a patient, while addressing each and every one of your medical concerns. Good and helpful support staff. Office has a simple-to-navigate online patient portal, and he is one of the few medical professionals with 'lived experiences.' A good partner in health.

Communication is a struggle with Dr. Littlejohn's office. This is a mom-and-pop operation that doesn't appear to have a dedicated receptionist to answer the phones. So generally you have to leave a message and pray for a callback. Parking is moderately easy. Usually I can get parking within 2 blocks. It does get busy during the day due to all the office buildings nearby. Overall, the office experience needs improvement.

Office experience, very rude and inconsiderate. Asked a simple insurance/change question and the women at the front desk just said "why are you asking me, and no we don't take that insurnace, go ask your insurance rep". Front desk or on the phone are the first people you interact at a doctor's office which in result either keeps you as a patient or not and this did not help, I wouldn't consider being a patient here.

Dr. Littlejohn has been my primary Doctor for several years, I've been working on getting my overall health, weight and for me to feel good about my overall appearance or just to feel good in my skin. Dr Littlejohn had an additional practice where it's for aesthetic. After discussing my plateau, I started on semaglutide injections. I felt comfortable talking to Dr. about my struggles, and excited to see my future goals as he will be following my progress for overall health and appearance (for me). The additional practice he has is in the same building and unlike a Dr. office it spa like! He offer so many other aesthetic procedures, which I will be doing in the near future. Two weeks in on semaglutides and I feel great, eating better (no cravings for sugars!!!!!) have more energy I am excited to see Dr. Littlejohn in two weeks to get measured and discuss progress!

I'm a patient of Dr. Littlejohn. I really love him and his staff!!! Plus, it has been easy to get appointments where the rest of the Bay Area is a bit of a headache. My wife is interested in the aesthetics and the semiglutide that he does so I will update my post when she completes it.

Omg!!! Dr. Littlejohn is now offering Omprenzic (generic name Semiglutide), and I've already lost an incredible 20lbs! The addition of esthetic services and the revitalizing IV treatment were beyond amazing choices. The staff, Dr., Anna, and Maureen, have been incredibly supportive and amazing throughout my journey. If you're searching for an effective weight loss solution and a rejuvenating experience, I highly recommend Dr. Littlejohn's clinic. It's the perfect place to achieve your health and wellness goals! He can also do parties! Will post pics of my progress and next treatment soon! Support our local owned business's in Emeryville!

I've had a couple appointments with Dr. Littlejohn, and am now searching for another Primary Care Physician. There are good and bad things about his practice, and the bad vastly outweighs the good. I wish that I had read the reviews here before going, especially the negative ones. I recommend you do as well, my experience rhymes with theirs. Let's start with the biggest issues and go down from there for the sake of completeness. INVASIVE TOUCHING He gave no warning that he would begin the physical exam, he just started reaching under my shirt to listen to my heart. I was uncomfortable and shocked but assumed this was something he was only doing with me because I am a white, cis-gendered man. I would never have expected he would also have done this with his female patients until I read reviews here saying he had. I am shocked he hasn't been sued for malpractice and lost his license, given what I've read here. RIDICULOUS WAIT TIME The wait time in his office is consistently unprofessional. two examples: The first time I scheduled an afternoon appointment so I expected some delay. I ended up waiting over an hour, and could here him chatting with another patient when I went to the bathroom. The next time I made sure I was his first session of the day. The front-desk staff/nurse warned me that sometimes he arrived late but still scheduled the 9:00 am session. I arrived early for my session and then waited an hour before he arrived (I watched him walk in). He didn't apologize. DISRESPECTFUL SESSION TIME Every time I finally was in an appointment with him, he talked to me briefly then left without warning for 10-15 minutes. The second time, the walls were thin enough I could tell he was chatting with another patient, then the front-desk staff/nurse. When he came back, he gave no explanation or apology. That session ended up being OVER AN HOUR long, mostly taken up by him talking about himself. I barely could get a word in edgewise to bring it back to my test results and what I should do to follow up. *The one positive thing* One of my sessions was to explain the results of some tests. He went through each result of my blood work, taking notes on a printout about what each thing meant in layman's terms, when to worry and when not, and he was patient with follow-up questions. It felt like maybe the most personable explanation around a medical test result I'd had. DON'T GO HERE I see the positive reviews, and they reflect the one positive thing I mention above. But it is not enough.

I really like Dr. Ben Littlejohn. I was very sick and I was able to get and appointment right away. In the waiting room there is an "easy chair" and a TV. He is always kind and gets to know me a little more each time. I was able to sit in a special vibrator easy chair to in a room to relax while waiting my turn. That chair really calmed me down. They have a very nicely located parking lot which also makes it easy to be there. They have a nice bathroom which I needed several times because of my condition. They sent my referral right away to the specialist. They also wanted me to follow up with them after I saw the specialist. I felt very supported and I am happy to have the staff and the doctor in my corner when I am down. They helped me when my insurance would not pay when it came to medication. They gave me the Good Rx card to pick up medication at Safeway. Instead of paying full price I was given a very good discount. These things mean a lot to me when I feel down and sick and needing assistance. This doctor now has an aesthetics department. I am looking forward to getting at least one procedure done there one day.

He is an excellent doctor. He is a person who gives you confidence that he knows what he is doing. He has been my doctor for many years. If you have an emergency, he will reach out to you.

The doctor and I went over many things and he was very fast at figuring out what some of my issues are. He ordered a test that I needed. I'll have the office help me with setting up and registering my account in the portal and continue to communicate there as well. I feel pretty satisfied with my first visit. He is a very real person and has a lot of experience. I felt heard and seen. I think think it is important for people to truly connect with their physician. He is very savvy. I left the office feeling grateful to have him as my doctor.

They use some pretty interesting, new medical technology for anti-aging to pelvic, abdominal dysfunctions. Radio frequency micro needling laser tech. It's called Morpheus8 a #kimkardashian rec, really good for skin tightening, scar treatment like surgical scaring, stretch marks, fine lines to sun damage wrinkles. Cool doctor and staff, warm and chill vibes. Parking was easy and in a safe neighborhood, public transit is nearby also.
