It's been a long time since my last time in Allegro Ballroom, I used to go there every Sunday night about 20 years ago, lol, and I had a blast every single time, there were always a lot of good dancers attending and I used to dance the night. Tonight was my first time in its new location, and even it's a bit smaller than the older place, it is still a good place to go for dancing Salsa and Bachata in a Sunday night, with a little more people would be great, I'm going to keep going every Sunday, hopefully it gets better eith the time. I highly recommend this place.

The dancing rooms at this place are good and has free parking rigth there next to Grocery outlet but people don't come. Teachers are good and i enjoyed dancing there.

Great Salsa Sundays starting with a Bachata class that starts at 6:15pm, the salsa class at 7:30pm and the social dancing from 8:30 until 11:00pm - all for a flat $15 for the night! . An excellent all-ages non-alcoholic option to dance and practice in a friendly atmosphere.

It has been many years since I've attended a class at Allegro but I am glad to be back. My partner and I have attended 3 classes for west coast swing and found the instructors to have well laid out lesson plans that paced with the group well. They were easy to follow, vocal, and kind. We will definitely be back for more soon!

Allegro is a hall located in the city of Richmond, it is close to me and I will soon be reappearing to enjoy the atmosphere of dance classes, but also dance music at the end of classes, I love dancing and I hope you enjoy it as you did before.

With so many great local places having closed during the pandemic, glad to see that Allegro is open again even with the new location. The classes, dancing and cover all comes at a great price of only $15-20 all inclusive! It wasn't super crowded on a Saturday night, which was especially nice with covid cases still around. Staff were friendly and the DJ was good as well! It was a salsa night but he even played some bachata, merengue and cumbias per our request in between the salsa sets. Only the main ballroom was open but the place looks pretty big as I saw a few more ballrooms in the back. Only small thing is I wish the bathroom was a bit upgraded or water was sold at the front but overall glad Allegros is open again and theres social dancing spots back in the East Bay, so I don't have to drive all the way to SF or SJ!
