Worst grooming experience in the Bay Area. Never again! My dog was dropped off around 9:30am and released at 5pm (I received a text saying he would be ready by 4). I asked if he was walked for a bathroom break/access to water, but the person there didn't answer me and avoided my question. This gave me the answer that he wasn't walked for a bathroom break or offered water. I suggested that appointment times need to be offered and they said it was more efficient this way. NO! Efficient for whom? Absolutely not for the dog who is cooped up for almost 8 hours with apparently no water or bathroom break. Clients are not allowed in the shop at all, so you can't see the space where your dog is being held and everyone is waiting awkwardly outside. The work is uneven and I found off at drop-off that my dog was not getting a full cut and only a trim. Trim came back long and uneven. For what they're charging he should get a full cut. They also take your card into the shop out of your view. He came home stressful and backed up, wouldn't eat, and I had to take him outside twice at 1am & 4am (following the appointment) because he was throwing up - most likely still stressed and backed up. Most of these glowing reviews must be friends and family. Please don't make my mistake, just take your dog elsewhere

We visited this past Saturday with our two Aussies. They have a lot of anxiety and we were nervous about moving to a new groomer. Aussies are double coated and can't be buzzed etc. Lena scheduled our appointment and even offered obedience classes to help with their anxiety (which we will be trying ?). Drop off was smooth and pick up was hours earlier than expected. The price was more than reasonable given the type of dogs and coats. They look amazing and we got a full report of how they did. We are very grateful to the all about DOGue team and will be coming back regularly if they'll have us ??haha

I appreciated that they cared what type of haircut, and took the time to explain the various cuts for my Yorkie. They were patient, kind, and gentle with Gorgie.

This may be the first review I’ve ever left for a business, but I’m really disappointed with this business’s level of customer service (or lack thereof), and I want to make sure others are aware.
I took my dog here a handful of times. I thought it was a bit expensive but liked it because they gave good cleans and cuts.
However, the last time I dropped my dog off for a haircut, they did not follow our directions for grooming. They barely cut any hair off our dog despite us showing pictures and saying we definitely wanted the cut to be short. So we basically paid $120 for a bath. But, they made us pay for the haircut before bringing our dog out to see him. After I asked if they could cut more off, they connected me with the owner “Miss Lena” (after multiple calls back and forth over the next few days), who told me I would have to pay for a new haircut if we wanted more trimmed off. She then not only refused to offer a refund or credit, but would not even admit that they had offered an inadequate service or made a mistake.
They clearly value their pride and pocket way more than the customer’s concerns. I will never go back. The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Such bad service that they actually inspired me write a review.

Really disappointed to be leaving this negative review, but I feel like it's earned. I brought my dog in for a cut and he came home with a different collar and without his dog tags. Seems like a simple enough problem to resolve, yet it wasn't. After I made multiple phone calls and did not receive the follow up calls I was promised, the owner proceeded to argue with me that my dog didn't come in with the collar and tags I know I brought him in with. It seemed bizarre to argue with a client over what amounts to a $30 credit, but she eventually agreed to credit my next appointment if I showed her proof that I repurchased the items. On my return visit, I attempted to show the staff person my receipt for the new dog collar and tag, but she said I had to email the owner. I emailed the owner, but didn't get a response much like the return phone calls I never received. I guess she saved herself $30, but lost a customer who was paying her $175 every 4 weeks and lowered her yelp score even more. Customer service matters...

They are very friendly and do a great job with my large dog Patata! I took her to this place the day after I adopted her and we have been going regularly since. She smells so good for a couple weeks after each shower and it helps a lot with the shedding. Last time I dropped her she went inside right away, which tells me that they treat her very well! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a professional grooming for their furry baby!

I took my pup here three times, had high hopes. I had a weird feeling about it when I wasn't allowed in to see the space, but figured they were still being strict with Covid rules. First time was fine, the second and third times I brought my pup back she was shaking and crying. They Nicked the quick of my pups nail and did not tell me. Only found out because she was nursing her paw when we got home and she left blood tracks on the carpet. Haven't gone back since.

I’m heartbroken! My dog’s nails were bleeding after we came back home and she walked a little.
I moved to the area two weeks ago and decided to give this place a shot after all the good reviews.
But simply look at the image! My pup’s nails were bleeding! I was not allowed into the establishment. They took less than 10 min, then they came out to ask for payment. I gave them my credit card which they took inside. Then they came out with my dog and I noticed her nails were covered in some sort of powder. I’d never seen this before and the nails seem alright so I thought this was fine.
It wasn’t until we came back home that she started walking and I noticed a trail of blood. My pup then started whimpering and limping.

I moved from other state and was looking for a good grooming salon. I searched so many places and went to here. They give Milky and Yuki great service all the time. I've been going this salon like 6 months. It's hard to make a reservation by phone call(cause they are busy) but I really like this place. Thank you. And also love that black owned place.

BEST NAIL PLACE EVER FOR DOGS!! Don't come here They don't know how to cut dog's nails and they said the dog was too aggressive because as you see, I LITERALLY CAN SEE THE BLOOD. And I paid $28 dollars for just cutting lol. Starting price is $28?????? Great lol
