“We had the best experience here! They go above and beyond to make sure you get the right dog for you. I worked with another golden retriever rescue and found them to be very exclusive. Homeward bound is very inclusive and responsible with finding the right fit for the dog and family. Carol knows her stuff!
Also…what an amazing place! It’s a retreat more than a rescue!

“Nicole does a fantastic job of grooming. The service is prompt and affordable. I like the fact they don’t keep your dog kenneled there for several hours like most places.There was one problem. The gal who checked us in *shamed* me for trimming my dog’s neck, head, chin and face - myself. When I came back to get my dog she did it again, she said “we tried our best to blend in the short cut you gave her”. Nicole is the groomer and she did not seem concerned about it.So, to the owner of Waggers: your cashier needs to keep her abrasive comments to herself. I always trim my dogs’ faces myself, been doing it for years and years. I do it myself because I prefer to style their face, head and neck different than the way most groomers do. I am willing to give this place one more try. If your cashier shames me next time I come in, I will take my dog elsewhere. I will not tolerate rudeness.”

“Always go to get shots for my dog whether I purchase direct from store or attend the clinic they hold one day a week. Their products are good and people friendly. Used to love their parrot who lived in the store. What a character.”
“So my fiancé and I stopped off in the shopping center for lunch. We saw Ben’s last time and decided to stop in after we ate . BOY. We’re we impressed . By far the nicest and most Knowledgeable staff I have encountered . We were so impressed we brought our boy Preacher back to meet the staff the same day, and to use their state of the art self washing station that has a sanitary clean cycle after each use .Largest selection of raw diet food I have ever seen at a brick and mortar store . After we finish our boys kibble we will be switching him over to raw!P.S. if you are within 5 be miles , they will deliver your online orders to you !”

“A little hole in the wall!
I'm used to going to the new remodeled Petcos that have the new vet clinic attached, but this was a small hole in the wall pet store that had a rustic feel and the employees felt like they just came in from the farm, so it was a nice change from a fancy store with a vet attached and a grooming room attached, and a training center.”
“Went in today on an impulsive mindset of getting a few chicks to eventually have my own eggs at home. The staff were really educational when asking which chicks would be best for what I wanted, which is eventually having my own eggs lol, and helped us select food and other beginners items that we needed. I saw another customer review on here that said the staff checked the chicks that were selected before having you buy them and I don't recall seeing the staff check them before putting in a box for me. Other than that, today is day 1 and I'm super excited!”
“great little spot for a self-service dog wash. i love having shampoo, conditioner, towels, and a blow dryer provided for $15 out to the door! Kensie was amazing (idk if that's how they spelled their name... no name tags but that's the name they provided when i asked for it) and just so helpful! i am definitely taking my pup back there again when we visit California in the future. both employees i encountered were helpful and very thorough with explaining how the self-service dog wash operates. it was a fabulous and friendly atmosphere and i really enjoyed my visit!”

“They had one line but three registers, so you have to go to the end of the one line then wait to go to a register that's ready. I had the big bag of dog food which I couldn't carry so I'm kicking it with my foot. Smdh. When the register for me was ready the cashier came and picked it up for me and walked me to my car. Which I was very pleased.”
“I had the best experience with these kind people plus my Buddy really liked them. I am in my late 80s and had to go pick up Buddy in the dark. There shop is off the highway and hard to find at night. They said they called me right away because it was dark they would bring Buddy to my home but I didn't hear the phone ring, so I didn't pick up . They ended up taking me home in my car with husband driving me and his wife followed us to bring him home. I was amazed at the kindness they showed to me and they will be Buddy's groomers as long as I'm able to get him there. Plus they do a good job grooming my shi-tsu pup,”
“The employees were so welcoming and kind and the store was clean. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because of a lack of XS dog harnesses and collars. I really wanted to make a purchase on a harness but couldn’t find one that I liked that would fit my puppy. The other reason for a 4 star is for the lack of shopping carts. I saw a high volume of customers here and only 3 carts. I had to keep putting my stuff on the floor to look at the collars and harnesses.”
“I took my dog here for her first-time grooming experience. She is 3 years old, but I always cut her nails at home. She had this back toenail that I could never get to very well. I decided to take her here. They were very gentle with her and it only took them 15 minutes. The guy cutting her nails was absolutely fantastic with her. All the workers there were kind and friendly. My dog came out more calm than she went in (she has anxiety), and her nails were cut better than I could cut them. I'll definitely be going back :)”
“Quick and friendly service. The store is clean and doesn't have the usual 'pet store' smell. It's a cute little Petco that we like buying our guppies from. We rarely ever have health issues with the fish. The staff here is always nice and they're always ready to help.”
“Ive managed to score some great deals on toys and planters here at TSC over the years. Unlike the personnel from the big box stores, the manager here from 2 years ago (forgot his name) let me pickup a bunch of gardening soil that had damaged bags. Great service and good deals.”

“I have been going here for the past year to get my dog washed and get his hair cut but it wasn't till this last cut that I was really SO happy with it. Kinga M. Was my dog's groomer and she took such great care of him.She was thorough in explaining the difference in just a nail trip and getting them buffed, and gave him the best haircut. Every time I look at him I think of how pleased I am with the way his haircut turned out. He's a poodle so he got a little puffball Mohawk on top of his head and he usually comes out with it looking kind of funny.. but this time it's really even and cute.Thanks Kinga!”
