My TasteBuds had a taste for a Snickers candy bar and Walgreen's has a sale for two for four dollars. After taking that first bite My TasteBuds were satisfied. So, if you want to make the sale and satisfy your tastebuds, come down because the price is right.

This Walgreens is the second Walgreens in Elk Grove/Laguna Creek. I hope it will stay since Walgreens closed many stores in the Sacramento area.
The store is clean and well organized. It is in a bigger shopping center with many businesses and restaurants. The parking lot is pretty busy, but I have no problem getting a parking space whenever I am here.

If I could give it a zero star, I would. These guys are liars, through and through. And super rude. They sit on prescription fill requests, UNTIL you call them. And even then, you go to pick it up, they tell you they need authorization. What authorization? The doctor sent you a medication prescription, what else do you want? I call each time to see if it's ready at which point they actually start working on it. And twice, I go, and am told, nope, can't fill it. Have to talk to your Dr. first. For what? And in the meantime while you're in the drive through, they say, we're on the phone with them, go park at the front. I ask how will you let me know? They go, through text. They never do, nor do they call. Avoid this particular branch, and possibly others. They also make each other managers if you want to speak to one. All a bunch of lies with a loud and aggressive tone. To further infuriate you, they never speak in the mike. I literally wasted 4 hours for a regular medication, and came home without it. As a working person, I don't have this kind of time. How about you get the medication, get everything all clear, and THEN actually tell the truth when it's ready. They also seem to be gaming their own system by putting "We're working with insurance." God darn, for each and every medication? Every single time? They need to be shutdown.

I've been a regular at this store for 5-6 years. I will never shop here again. Having kids under 21 run the store on a Friday night is beyond ridiculous. I won't even get into the fiasco I had here as it doesn't really matter. What matters is Walgreens absolute lack of customer service and the filth you let plunder and loot your store. Bye bye.

I am a wonderful and proud single mother of two, I cam here a while ago to get my two little kids a few snacks on our road trip, and stopped in. They picked out their food and drinks, and we were on our way to the register when i noticed this very nice young man at photocounter. He had to be latino, with a wild afro. I feigned my weakness, acting as though my few groceries were to heavy to handle, and he came over to me, helped me, and checked me out right at the photocounter so i didnt have to wait in that god awful 12 mile line they had. Thank you, my little sun kissed tanned man, I will remember you in my heart and soul, and you singularly have restored my faith in customer service and my faith that men still can be attractive! Thank you walgreens.

I shop at Walgreens regularly for various items. I use their customer rewards card when I shop. On many occasions I receive in store discounts at the register. And, typically coupons are printed out upon payment. Some I use and some I don't. On my recent visit, I received what I thought was a coupon for ten dollar cash towards my NEXT purchase of $10.00 or more. Since that coupon was due to expire on the 23rd of June my husband attempted to redeem it before the 23rd. Well, this is where the misunderstanding occurred. The coupon was actually for $10.00 towards rewards points if you spend $10 or more. In short, the $10 was applied to rewards points that could be used towards the next purchase, not redeemed for his current purchase. Needless to say I was not happy and the explanation of how the coupon actually worked seemed inconsistent with Walgreen's written coupon policy that I read online. I was totally confused. So, using their survey, I expressed my unhappiness. Their survey had a statement asking if I would to speak to someone about my concern and I stated yes, thinking I'd never hear from anyone. But, the next morning to my surprise I received a phone call from the store manager, Kathy. She introduced herself and asked me about my concern. She listened and thoroughly explained to me how Walgreen's coupon system worked. She also stated that customers are valued at Walgreens and that they really do look at survey comments. After our conversation I had a much better understanding of Walgreen's coupon system. Customer Service is a big issue with me and the manager's follow-up and patiently explaining Walgreen's coupon system relieved my frustration with Walgreens. Kudos to Kathy at the Laguna Franklin Walgreens! Here is one main tip if you receive a Walgreens Cash towards points coupon: 1. Ask the cashier WHEN can you redeem the coupon and HOW is it applied. If you are told that it is just like cash on your next purchase, this is not correct. Ask for the manager, or ask to see their written policy, it is supposed to be posted in the store.

Worst customer service of any pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Store manager was obnoxious and useless to the point of fraud not honoring advertisement or prescription rules. Go somewhere else.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in a retail store. Tried to transfer a prescription to this location nearer to my house. First they wouldn't give me Good Rx discount then the Pharmacist called in the store Mgr. Total Bitch. Wouldn't give me the ADVERTISED discount and made me show ID and pay tax which is why I have a prescription in the first place. Wouldn't budge even when I explained the situation to this stone face idiot. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS STORE. And that was before Walgreens decided not to honor women's rights in red states. I am going to another pharmacy.

Horrible experience with developmentally disabled man Robert Minh. Rude and could not explain policy after refusing me service for FedEx drop off. He literally could not tell me the size limit and guestimated using his hands and arms to attempt to explain the max size accepted when asked. I was not greeted and was instead barked at from yards away. He shouted "That's too big, we're not taking that!!!" I was under the impression that employees with disablities were to be supervised. I don't know how he has a job. Robert could use some training and learn how to treat people with respect and decency. I get that some people have bad days, but this guys attitude was totally uncalled for.

This pharmacy is a shambles. I can only assume they are drastically undertrained and understaffed.I have a prescription that can’t be on auto-refill, meaning I have to call every time. This can take up to 45 minutes; I am currently writing this review while on hold, current hold time 25 mins and counting!Picking up prescriptions at this location can also take 20-50 minutes (I’ve started timing it just to see if I’m being crazy). In the past, they have done partial fills without checking my insurance, resulting in my having to pay hundreds out of pocket to fill the remainder.Recently I changed jobs and was waiting for my new insurance to kick in, so chose to pay out of pocket for my last three prescriptions. Today I’m calling because they automatically delayed filling a new prescription “due to an insurance issue.” I learned this from a text, and called immediately after. Why they would delay filling an antibiotic without checking to see if I wanted it delayed, considering I paid for the last three transactions without billing insurance, is beyond me.So now I’m on hold, and have been at this point for 28 minutes. Had someone been proactive, I might have already received this antibiotic. As always, stellar job, Walgreens.Oh wait, after 30 mins on hold they hung up.So now I drove here and am updating this review in person, there is someone in front of my literally crying because she has been waiting for hours and still can’t get her medication. Apparently she was told they had the prescription, and now they don’t. But, since she has been waiting so long they can’t call the provider because their office is closed.Walgreens, this is disgraceful.

This Walgreens has gone down so much. It is terrible! The parking lot is so dirty, the inside is so bad, looks old. The pharmacy technicians are terrible they have a bad attitude and they are not trained properly. It seems like everyone at this store has an attitude problem. The manager of the store needs to step up and make changes, otherwise this place is going downhill fast!!!!!!!!
