Awful experience and it took 4 days to get my medicine.
My insurance company made aware and they also looking into it.
Enquired with pharmacy staff, reason given short of staff.
Witnessed they go over plenty bins to locate prescription and time lost.

Super super slow pharmacy, takes an hour to fill a prescription and line routinely wraps around the store. DO NOT go here to fill prescriptions unless ABSOLUTELY necessary

The pharmacy needs to pick up their calls. I have been calling for 2 days now at 3 separate times. Each time on hold for 20-30 minutes with a message reminder every few minutes apologizing for the wait. After about 30 minutes waiting, I get a message to try my call again later. Horrible service! ??Doesn't qualify for a star, but was forced in order to post a review. Walgreens, get your business in check!

Horrible, inefficient drive thru pharmacy. There is no reason they should have the cars at the windows for over 10 minutes. If there is an issue processing their prescription, they should make them go to a parking stall and wait.

Went here to try to fill a prescription for my fur baby and the pharmacist was very helpful in trying to get it filled , she went way above and beyond to help us. The people here are very nice ..

The absolute WORST pharmacy I've ever used.
Took my nephew to urgent care and they sent in a script for a severe allergic reaction. We went over to Walgreens, where the drive thru line was literally wrapped around the building and not moving. So I went in. It took me ten minutes to even speak to anyone; they told me to come back later when it wasn't so busy.
Five hours later, I called to confirm that the prescription was ready and was informed it would be ready TWO DAYS LATER after 8 am. Seriously? What part of "severe" was confusing?
I was only able to get the wait time down to four hours...unless I spoke to a pharmacist. So, I waited on hold for FORTY FIVE MINUTES in order to get the prescription within the following hour.
I've lived in 7 states and used Walgreens in each of them. The Walgreens in California are the absolute worst. What ever happened to filling a prescription when you receive it?
Avoid this place like the actual plague.

Worst service! I called about three hours after Dr had put prescription in. I was told it would be 90 minutes more! Because the forgot to process it!!! When I got there they told me 30 minutes more.
Do not used this walgreens unless you need after hour meds. Got to the one on Elk Grove Florin.

Since the staff are nice and polite, it's 3 stars. I would have given this place a 1 star. It takes at least 2 hours for a new Rx, and it's better to come back a day later. It's very inconvenient if you're in so much pain and need the Rx asap.

This is the worst Pharmacy in the whole Sacramento valley. They are very unprofessional. They say meds are ready and then you get there. Wait in the line for an hour literally an hour and then they don’t have the right meds or if they’re not ready. Do not use Walgreens. They are the absolute worst. When I left the store today, there were 20 cars behind me waiting.

Pharmacy of this Walgreen is a Swamp period.
Run by very rude grumpy staff lacking professionalism.
I called on Monday for refill and was told by a female it should be ready tomorrow which would be Tuesday, so on Tuesday I didn’t get the text message for pickup so I called if it was ready, a gentleman answered the phone and said “O some reason it wasn’t put in order so let me do that and you will get a text message to pick up within next 90 minutes” no text message for pick up for next 3 days until Thursday, so I called again on Friday day, female staff answered the phone checked my refill order and apologize that the order was submitted but it is out of stock and their next shipment will come on Monday. My due date to take that medicine was Tuesday so I will be without taking it for 5 days if I am lucky to get it on Monday.
This is not the first time this Pharmacy has done this to me and the only thing I am keep going there is because it is 3 minutes away from my house.
There are some other issues too with the pharmacy, Doctors order refill some times pharmacy fails to upload and some times double upload so I get twice text message for refill and then I get text messages that insurance has denied to pay because it is too early to refill.
I am with this pharmacy for long time, have so many good memories but within past few years it is changed for swamp either by greed keeping it short staff or managed by inexperienced people, but definitely it is not the same place once I have good experience with.

On hold for 2 HOURS WITH THE PHARMACY, FINALLY THEY ANSWER, PUT ME ON HOLD AGAIN, AND THEN HANG UP AFTER IT RINGS. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE JOKING. This place is so horribly managed it's hard to believe this is in the US.

Please do not trust this pharmacy with your Healthcare needs. I call in prescriptions or my doctor does, and they will fill one and send the other to another walgreens. Then you call to have them correct it and they say they can't. They are lucky they have not been sued yet.

Pharmacy here is very irresponsible. The pharmacists here are not communicating with one another and will give you different answers depending who picks up the phone. Please be cautious when deciding to pick up prescriptions from here. For my personal case, I had a prescription to pick up, but it was not ready for pick up and was not told why. I reached out again and told me they needed my primary care doctor to fill out a form. I called my primary care doctor and they stated that they did not get a request. I reached out to the pharmacy again and they confirmed they did not send any request to my primary care and that my prescription would be ready the next day. I reach out again the next day and the pharmacist states there is no record of anything and again told me it would be ready the next day. I reached out again and they didn't want to deal with my situation and directed my call elsewhere where I waited 45 minutes to a pharmacist who was also not able to help me as well. I don't know if I will ever receive my prescription.
