Got our brand new in the box vanity for $1000. Originally 3 times as much minimum. It has marble and is an ABSOLUTE steal. The owner was awesome. It's cash only and no returns. But you won't get a better deal, that is for sure.

I called them many times to see if they were open. I left messages. No one ever returned my call. Often when you call you are disconnected from their phone system. I was traveling from the Bay Area to Roseville (east of Sacramento) and went a different, longer, less desirable way to stop by as I saw their address. I checked their hours ... which said open until 4 ... and arrived about 2 pm. I actually found them on a Craigslist ad advertising their chairs, showing pictures and encouraging the public to stop by. When I arrived, they really do not have a sign. The door that looked closest to a customer entrance was locked and it was dark inside. Yet, around the corner from the office entrance they gave a decent sized warehouse, all the loading dock doors open. I could hear people talking loudly and music blaring. So people were clearly there. Based on my experience and all the poor reviews from customers that have purchased their furniture, and had terrible experiences while they go dark on you ... I'd avoid this place like the plague. There should be a way they can be penalized and fined for being so dishonest and sketchy.

We purchased a vanity from Urban Finishing. The vanity arrived damaged, but beyond that, the craftsmanship is absolutely unacceptable. The wood measurements are completely off, causing gaps, and crooked closing doors. The side panel is now bowed but being forcibly aligned where it doesn't belong. The hardware to one door was just placed loosely inside the cabinet so was scratched and chipped from shipping. Upon contacting Urban Finishing, I was told they are not willing to help. Not only am I out $800, but this was for a new construction home and the plumbing was arranged specifically for this vanity. Very sad that they don't care about their customers or quality, or even acceptable craftsmanship....

I purchased the Eames replica lounge chair from theiconicchair.com / Urban Furnishing after I saw a number of blogs and Reddit posts that said this was definitively the best Eames lounge chair replica available in the U.S. I can't speak to their other business (bathroom vanities) but wanted to share my positive experience with the Eames replica lounge chair I purchased from them. The main thing holding me back from purchasing sooner were the mixed experiences some buyers reported with shipping, items arriving damaged and subsequent customer service experiences working with Urban Furnishing and theiconicchair.com as a business. Before purchasing I called to ask about shipping and get some clarity around the return policy and what happens if items are damaged in transit, which seemed to be the root of most other purchasers' complaints. The woman I spoke to at Urban Furnishing was very helpful and answered all of my questions about replacing parts if they're damaged, and that gave me enough confidence to go ahead and purchase. The standard size chair ships in a single large reinforced box via FedEx Ground. I live in Minnesota and it arrived in 4 business days. I had it routed to a FedEx Office location so I could inspect the box before accepting it (vs. having it left on my doorstep where I wouldn't get that chance). Given the specificity of their return policy, you may want to consider this, too, if you have a large SUV, van or pickup truck available that can fit the box (it's bigger than you think!). The box was in good shape with no visible damage so I accepted it and brought it home. As for the chair itself, it is manufactured in China by a company called Yadea, so theiconicchair.com is basically just acting as importer and reseller of these chairs. The Yadea model number (PV021-1-D) I found here ( was printed on the outside of the box of my chair, which I'm guessing came straight out of a shipping container from China, into their warehouse, and then shipped to me. Once I opened the box, things were very well packed, secured in place and protected with foam, cardboard and protective plastic sheeting over the polished metal legs. There were no scratches or dents in any parts I received. Also included in the box is a tub of what appears to be some kind of leather moisturizer or cleaning paste (?), but the package is in Chinese and there are no English instructions with it so I don't know what it's supposed to be used for. The build quality of the chair is outstanding, and it's very comfortable. The leather is very soft and high quality, the foam in the cushions is firm but not hard, and the molded plywood is very well finished. The chair was very easy to assemble. The hardware is good quality and the tools you need to assemble it are provided. As other buyers may have noted, having another set of hands to help hold the armrests in place when screwing them in was essential -- it would've been much harder alone (if not impossible). I am not an Eames chair expert and don't claim to know all the intricacies of the real thing except what I've read online. But based on quality of the item now sitting in my living room, I can say with certainty that I wouldn't know the difference -- so unless your guests have the genuine article at home, are authenticators of midcentury furniture, or have access to your credit card statement, chances are they won't be able to either. Overall, I'm very satisfied and look forward to enjoying it for a long time. I've had the chair for about 3 weeks now and it's absolutely been worth the money. Hope this review helps someone!

We purchased a floating vanity from this company, tried to cancel it days before we received it. They couldn’t, which I understand. We never opened it and shipped it back. They charged me the shipping fee, plus 20% restocking. The packaging box was so tore up I was just about sure the vanity would be damaged. No where in the description does it tell you about their return policy. Please make sure you order the right size, before purchasing.

We purchased a bathroom vanity for our bathroom remodel from Urban Furnishings. We accepted the delivery after visual inspection. Three months later we pealed off the plastic protective covering to install the vanity and discovered a crack in the marble top that had been very poorly repaired! It was uneven and rough. After we contacted the company for restitution, they refused any help because they said that 30 days had already passed. This company tried to pass off a repaired marble top after we paid for a new vanity and countertop and did not take any responsibility for this act. Buyer beware!

Urban Furnishing is a scam company. I would venture to guess that many of the positive reviews this company receives are fake. The company is basically a broker, importing low quality merchandise from Asia and delivering it to customers in the US.I purchased a bathroom vanity from Urban Furnishing that arrived damaged. The countertop was cracked, a drawer mechanism was inoperable, and the wood as damaged. Upon seeking a resolution, Urban Furnishing has been disagreeable and overall incapable of providing a replacement vanity. For over a week, I've spent countless hours attempting to achieve a resolution with Urban Furnishing. They are unwilling to correct a mistake. Buyer beware: this is not a business interested in customer service. Urban Furnishing is a merely a broker that ships furniture and they are incapable of guaranteeing you receive the product for which you paid.

Urban Furnishings is the most rude and unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Their delivery company yelled at me for asking him to not just drop the items in my drive way and leave and politely asked him to drop them off in the back yard. Their customer service refuse to return the item, even though I asked to return it the same day I received it.I am reporting them to BBB and definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND this Vendor.

These people must scan reviews and only put the best on their website. Beware. The review I've submitted several times, both through their site, and the link they sent me is pictured below.Steer clear!

I purchased furniture from their website urbanfurnishing.net When I received my Lounge Chairs they were defective. The back part was very wobbly and the leather was torn. On the other chair, the base was all scratched. I called them to replace or take back the chairs because I purchased new ones and not defective ones. They refused to replace or return the merchandise. Instead offered to order new chairs (?!). The customer service supervisor was no help and was very unprofessional, he could care less that I received defective chairs that I paid $3000 for. Instead, he blamed me for not inspecting the product. There is no accountability with this company. Here we are over 2 weeks and we have not received a call or a fix to our situation. Unfortunately, I have to seek legal help.

Let the buyer beware. They do not stand behind their furniture. I spent over $1,000 four years ago on their reproduction Eames Lounge Chair.

Let the buyer beware. They do not stand behind their furniture. I spent over $1,000 four years ago on their reproduction Eames Lounge Chair. The chair gets very little use, but I noticed the back of the chair coming loose. See picture. When I contacted customer service they quickly sent a replacement part. Unfortunately they changed how they made this chair and what they sent will not work. The direction I then received was to pull the cushion, which is held on by multiple staples off and tighten the screws and then use Velcro to reattach the cushion. I’m not an upholsterer, the reason I spent over a $1,000 on this chair was not to hone my skills as in upholstery. From a customer perspective this is an unacceptable solution. From a brand perspective it’s a disaster. How about offering me a credit on a new chair, or something? Basically I stuck with a $1,000 chair that’s falling apart. Be very careful when investing in furniture with this company. They do not stand behind their products and have no concern for their customer.
