Got a gift card in July 2023. Tried to use it and was told they don’t accept it because this is a “different Waffle Experience that was previously here”. Don’t go here

Creative menu & delicious food. Lots of interesting choices. Everything comes with a brioche waffle. I ordered the "Jimmy A Greek" which came with eggs, savory waffle, mixed greens & an authentic dolma. My wife ordered the avacado toast which she enjoyed v much. Coffee was good but refills were a challenge. Outside heaters were needed in a cool drizzling morning but all were out of propane. Oh! They've real fresh squeeze orange juice there - most delicioso! The restaurant opens at 8, the staff wasn't ready, one must be patient.

Went here for a Sunday brunch and was very pleased with the customer service. As usual, it was busy, however the server catered to our needs in a timely fashion. The food was well seasoned and tasty! Would recommend the Chicken an' Waffles along with the Eggs Benedict!

This is a place my fiancé and I have visited multiple times and it has been one of our favorites. However, this time I left less than pleased. The food was good, I have no complaints there, however, the service was not good at all. We were seated immediately, however it was more than 15 minutes before we were acknowledged, even though our server walked past our table multiple times. We didn't even have water. Another server asked if we had been helped, we said no and I could hear her telling our server about our table, yet it was still another 10 minutes or so before she came to take our order and bring us water. They were not busy -evidence is us being seated immediately so it was hard to understand the long delay, especially one that lacked communication.

This is a hidden Gem in Elk Grove. My wife and I came in for a few Mimosas on this Memorial Weekend. The establishment was very clean and welcoming. Plenty of staff and the service. They were fast and friendly! They had music that the cooks listened to while cooking and it made for a very relaxing eating experience. We saw the waffles and had to try one. They were very moist and tasty. I guess since you have a name like the waffle experience that would be their best seller. Very nice place to have Breakfast and enjoy a nice relaxing brunch or breakfast.ENJOY!!!

The chicken and waffles are good, the only thing is you get a different amount of chicken each time. The pork belly hash had lots of oil sitting at the bottom. This time around they kept forgetting items we ordered. The service is better at this location compared to the other. Update: I come here very often and get the same thing which is the chicken and waffle. When I recently came for another visit and ordered the same thing I always do “chicken and waffles with slaw and marmalade on the side” they gave me a plate missing more than 2 ingredients that come with the dish. When I complained they acted as if they didn’t know what I was talking about. Even though I started eating my food in the first picture you can definitely see the difference in the two visit.I don’t want to come back after they wanted to play with a loyal customer’s food.

The Waffle: solid 4 starsThe Experience: 2 starsOverall: 3Honestly that's the summary of the review but I'll get into it for you Yelpers that want to know more. The food is the draw here - the star of the show. As it should be! I had the Praise the Lard plate, which honestly was delicious. Savory with complex sweetness, outstanding flavors and textures, lovely presentation. Outstanding potatoes in both texture and flavor. Hubby had the Benedict., and for him it was good. This is not your classic Hollandaise at all, more mustardy and less traditional. Eggs poached perfectly. So it didn't knock his socks off but there are no complaints either. So, the experience. Not great. At all.1. The tables are awful. They need a good, thorough washing, not another wipe down.2. The placement of the tables. Sitting along the window you are squeezed into a too-tight space where your chair is smashed up against the person behind you. Like heads touching unless you lean forward into your sticky table. Gross.3. Speaking of gross - our server was kind but her blouse was covered in per hair that fell around her as she walked, and her apron was FILTHY. We were there before 9 am and there's no way that amount of filth on the apron was from today.4. The ordering. I KNOW using a QR code ordering system helps establishments cut costs on wait staff, but I really hate it. Here's why: - I do not like being forced to select a tip amount before I have exchanged 10 words with my server. I don't carry cash to pay later. I shouldn't have to.- I do not like paying a "convenience fee" for ordering this way.- I do not like an additional "debit card" fee.So here's the thing. I had a delicious breakfast, and a mediocre at best dining experience. I probably would not return. But the food is worth trying!

This place is so great. The menu isn't just waffles it is an entire experience. The Bloody Mary with pork belly is a 100/10. Come here, eat well, enjoy it all.

First time there, Sunday brunch, I'll come back to try more of the menu. Would love to have taken a pic of the food before I ate it, but it looked so good, I had to dive in right away. It was that good, I had to eat the whole thing. It used to be Chicken and Waffles.

I have never been a huge fan of waffles, yes I know they are a breakfast staple for American culture. Therefore, I was not too enthused when my son suggested that we have a Saturday morning family breakfast at Waffle Experience. However, my wife insisted that I try it because, in her words, "it's not like your typical waffle spot."I'm used to seeing this place with a long line extending out of the establishment. However, I was shocked when we arrived to a fairly empty restaurant. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted and seated by an employee named Ashley (who would turn out to be our server). Ashley quickly provided us with menus and took our drink orders. My wife and I ordered two of the strawberry mimosas, while my son ordered an orange juice. After browsing the extensive food menu, I opted for the "Babe." Babe is essentially a beef burger with BBQ pulled pork, and lardon-studded waffles that replace what would normally be burger buns. When it arrived, I had to hide my enthusiasm (the presentation had me at "hello")! It's been quite some time since I've had a meal where the menu description provided an accurate depiction.Roughly an hour and fifteen minutes later, we were walking out of the establishment fully satisfied with our meal's, and in dire need of a nap (yes the food is that good). If you're looking for a non-traditional waffle experience, I encourage you to encounter the Waffle Experience!

Located just couple minute off of HWY 99 tucked in the corner of a small plaza. The place was a bit dim inside and a little chilly. There was a lot more outside seating which is great to get some good sun! The staff were nice and helpful. Even more so when my pregnant cousin wasn't feeling the best. The staff accommodated her every need to what food she can try to eat. Much props for the staff to help change her dish 3 times! They were so patient with her. We appreciate it so much! The food was delicious! The pork belly was crispy on the outside, yet very juicy and melt in your mouth in the inside. The runny eggs helped break the saltiness of the pork belly. The potatoes and homemade ketchup were a nice snack! We ended up ordering more of this, especially the ketchup! I never knew homemade ketchup could taste so good!

I brought my family here with my pup and we waited to sit outside on the patio. There were big groups that just sat down before us so we knew it was going to be a long wait. They estimated about 30 minutes. We saw that there was an open table but maybe they're short staffed. With a wait being so long where we have to wait outside, I wish they offered us some water or at least have a water station outside for others who are waiting. We finally sit down after 40 minutes and it's about another 15 minutes before we get water. The servers seem to cater to the larger group which I understand, but we're paying people too. 5 of us crowded around a 4 person table which was a little uncomfortable, but we had to work with whatever was available at the moment. Although the food is pretty good, the waffles were a little dry and very dense. Not sure if it was sitting out for a really long time or whatever but it tasted old and stale. By that time, we ate our meals because it took so long. Total dinner time including wait was about 2.5 hours. I didn't plan on spending my whole afternoon here, and most likely timing. There was a smaller family that sat down shortly after us and they were served first . We had to constantly flag our server for more water and check on our food. Not sure if I'll be back at this specific location next time, but highly recommend the location in sac.
