I use this Shell gas station even now and then. Especially when I need to refill my propane tanks. The location of this gas station with propane refill is very convenient. They're near the freeway, in front of Elk Grove Auto Mall. The gas station has more gas pumps than most of the gas stations. It is easy access to the main street and the freeway.

I just went in there and got $20 in gas used my card left got an email from my bank stating that they just tried to pull $50 out of my account and when I go back in there to talk to the dude after my lunch he attempted to get my phone for what reason I don't know terrible place I will never use Shell gas station again

Terrible place to pump gas. If you over estimate the amount of gas u need they will not give u your change back. Plus even if you are pumping more than $50 worth of gas, they will not accept 100 dollar bills. The owner does not know the problem he’s creating with the community… immigrant gas station ??

Not allowed to “fill it up”. Must guess how much gas you need. We guessed low,paid for it, then went back in to pay for more and then went back in a third time for credit since we guessed too much the second time. Never again!!!!!

An extremely racist cashier, on Christmas Day, Starbucks was closed so I stopped the convenience store and purchased a few waters and snacks. The tall cashier yelled " we do not accept EBT cards" at no point did I ask or appear that I was on government assistance. There is nothing wrong with those who need assistance but to imply that I would be unable to pay with out the card was extremely uncalled for and Racist and did not represent the Shell brand. This will be raised to corporate and discussed with leadership that racism exist in your store in ELK GROVE and it will need to be denounced. Rosemary the manager and the local owner should contact me after the holidays as this will be elevated no question. I do not advocate generally for termination of employees but due to the holiday I did not respond in a typical fashion by undressing your employee and establishing the fact that in no way should he be involved in customer service. I am leaving that up to you as a holiday wish.

I asked for a Juul vape. Cashier gave me juul pods. Have my receipt, asked for a refund. Refused to refund me for the pods. Absolute scam cashier. Used to come to this shell on a daily basis. Will not be returning unless this gets resolved.

Came here to try the Birria Boys. As we were waiting I checked out all the stuff they sell. It is a variety for sure. Hella drinks snacks and other stuff. They even have those large gardening hats that my peeps and other gardeners where. To funny.Don't forget that you can get your lottery tickets here. That is important now since it's hella high. Lets get rich.

The Birria Boys restaurant inside the gas station needs a bigger exhaust hood. Place stinks, and every time I walk in there I leave stinking like grease and tacos. Not my fave. Get it together, guys...

The two people who were working were incredibly nice, and the Shell just gave me good vibes. My friend left her phone there, and when we came back, the employees were so happy and glad we came back. They made our day.

This place is terrible! I got a flat tire where the side walls were completely deteriorated and the old lady with no empathy threatened to have my car towed if I left it there. Mind you my Lexus was pulled off to the side away from any traffic. I explained I just needed to remove the tire, bring it to the shop to replace and I would be back. She again threatened me. Its unfortunate how some people cannot put themselves in other people's shoes, even when it cost them nothing to do so. SMH.

Went here with my new car after getting a service at the dealership. My car was dirty, so I figured I'd get their expensive gas to get the car wash. I wish I had read these reviews! So I drove into the car wash, in the center like you do, and got the signal to stop and back up. So I backed up and my left tires went over a big lump. Now my car was tilted at an angle. That didn't seem right, so I pulled forward again as I felt scraping metal under my car! Arrerrgggggg! The signal to stop never reappeared, but I didn't want to risk their janky set up, so I drove on out, and went in. The lady at the counter said, oh, you didn't drive on the ramp. What? The "ramp" is not where wheels would be, it's way over on the left and looks pieced together with various big metal pipes. I asked if she's had complaints about scraping under vehicles before, and she said no. Sure. There better not be anything wrong with my vehicle now. I got a refund and washed it at home. Stay away from the car wash!
