Safeway bakery is awesome - worked specifically with Menally (spelling?) - my son is really into hulk and they didn't specifically have a hulk image. Menally went out of her way for my son to help him design his own cake and helped with suggestions like the purple green icing design. She showed great patience with us while working directly with my son and his answers... I gave kudos to front end manager and asked to also have kudos passed to bakery manager at pickup regarding Menally - also the person who made the cake did a fantastic job too my son was absolutely thrilled how cool his cake design was and to get to see it come to life.

Shopping is fine. Cashiers talk too much, so I always go to self-checkout. At the self-checkout they watch you like a hawk. Very unpleasant experience. Imagine someone staring at you while you try to scan your produce.

Safeway in Laguna Creek is one of the earlier supermarkets in Elk Grove/Laguna Creek. It has been remodeled a couple of times. So the store is looking good both inside and out. Shopping in this Safeway makes me feel comfortable, and the area is safe. The cashiers and all the other staff are very friendly and helpful. I love to shop at this Safeway.

If I could give it NEGATIVE stars I would. Not only is this store full of incompetent employees but I went in there Weds and EVERY tomato was rotten! The Produce is terrible, unripe or over-ripe fruit, and rotten veggies. The one downtown is awesome.
