Rom has been my CPA for many years. He is very thorough and takes the time to work through difficult situations. I recommend using Rom for tax planning and tax preparation. He is a busy professional so getting in touch earlier in the year is important. Although he works with so many other clients he manages to remember everything and stays organized (with the help of his awesome office team)!

After 10 years of filing taxes myself with software, I worked with Rom and company in February of 2022 for my first ever CPA adventure this year. The entire process was extremely smooth, all I had to do was get my documents together and the team did all the heavy lifting. Everything was done efficiently and remotely and saved me much driving time and health exposure. I thought my tax situation was relatively complex, with salaries, investments, a home office, a side hustle, and a few accidental IRA changes that needed correction, but Rom & company crunched through it efficiently and made me feel comfortable and confident about the entire process. My charged fee was also very reasonable, and I'm happy to say that I'll definitely have more business for the team in the upcoming years, and will be recommending the team for many of my friends in similar tax situations in the future.

I cannot say enough about Al and Arcadio! They are the utmost professionals, pleasant, and make taxes (ugh) a pleasant experience. I used to do my own taxes, but, have found that their expertise pays for itself in all the deductions and intricacies I would miss, and very importantly, the peace of mind that the taxes are done properly.

I have been doing my own taxes for years, using software. In 2018, I needed an experienced professional because I had the sale of a home and other changes that made me nervous about filing on my own. Through word of mouth, I found out about Francisco & Michel in Elk Grove, CA. A friend of mine was also looking for someone to do her taxes because she missed filing the previous year, so I told her about them. She had her taxes done first and was very pleased with their services. When my turn came, I also had Al Michel work on mine. He was professional, courteous and responsive. The front office staff were also pleasant and easy to work with. I am so happy to have found them. I highly recommend Al Michel.

My wife and I met with Mr. Michel to review out tax liabilities resulting from the sale of our home. He was very patient with us and answered all of our questions and provided various courses of action we could take. Very satisfying meeting and we left with the knowledge needed to move forward. This review is long overdue. I first came here in 2017. While it's only been 2 plus years, I feel like I've been a long time customer. I say this because each time I have a tax related question throughout the year, I call Al Michel and he is always ready to help me, answer my questions and educate me as well. The other day I asked him a real estate tax related question. He told me what he would do. I was satisfied with our conversation. I was surprised when he called me back a few minutes later (which I wasn't expecting) to give me additional information. I give him extra credit for that. Arcadio is very knowledgeable too. He is there to help during tax season. The staff is friendly as well.
