Stopped by this location tonight as it's the most convenient to our home. We arrived at 9:30pm to a locked door. The stated time of closing on their door was 10:00pm. The time of closing here on Google is 10:00pm. An employee came to the door and stated that starting tonight (2/10/24) they are now closing at 9:30 due to thefts. There was nothing about it stated anywhere. While I understand that they are having theft issues, advising the public of the change would be helpful.

Rite Aid is one of the many stores that has a pharmacy in the store. They have a drive-thru pharmacy available as well.The store carried a lot of household items, snacks, drinks, and wines. They have a good selection of wines in stock too.I didn't see more than just one cashier working at the checkout counter other than the employees working inside the pharmacy department. No one was on the sales floor when I was there on a Sunday afternoon. I was looking for an over counter medication but can't find it. The pharmacist and the cashier were busy. I have to get it at another store!

The drive thru medication service is awful! Drove up with 5 cars in front of me. 30 mins later....3 cars in front of me. RITE AID do better. This is unacceptable especially when you have sick customers that can not get out the car and pick up in person.

I've been here three times to pick up a medication and will not be retuning. Most of the workers have been ok- they are obviously overloaded, but do the best they can. I can understand that. But I have to wait so long in the drive up line when coming here. Each car seems to take 10 minutes each. The last time I came here was for an emergency prescription for an eye infection- I needed the antibiotics, and yes, it had only been about 30 minutes since the prescription was sent here. I understand if it wasn't ready, but woman at the service window was so rude to me. This is what happened: I drive up after waiting for the car in front of me to finish up. There is no one at the window and the receipt from the person in front of me was still sticking out of the slider window. No problem they are busy. So I wait about five minutes before taking out my phone. I'm on my phone about five minutes when I hear the woman at the window say, "Hi", in the most annoyed manner. I said "hi" back. And she just glares at me. I say, "I was just waiting for you guys to be ready." Ok so I tell her my info. She checks and says the prescription is not ready. Then she tells me to pull around behind the three or four cars behind me and then it may be ready by then. So I then asked, "How much time do you think it will take?" In the most annoyed tone she tells me she doesn't know , maybe 5-10 minutes and that's why I need to pull around. So it wasn't the fact that the medicine wasn't ready but how annoyed this worker was at having to help someone. This was her job and I was being civil and polite! I couldn't "just pull around". That would have been another 20-25 minute wait. And I had to pick up my child. Many people who go to the pharmacy aren't feeling well and it would be so nice if the management here would train their people in how to be polite to their customers. I mean, they are in a service industry. Right? The right thing to have said would have been, "I'm sorry it isn't ready yet, could you please come in to the store and wait. We'll call you when it's ready."

You should count your change before you leave. I believed her when she said she put the change into a small paper bag together with my medicine, but when I got home and took it out, it was only $8.21 instead of $18.21. I feel very sad about this. This is the second time I have been disappointed with this pharmacy. I think I should choose another pharmacy even though this is a convenient place near to my house.

Mostly I come here for the pharmacy. Sometimes they are short staffed and it's hard to get in and out quickly but they always remember me and they are always friendly.

The only reason I come to Rite Aid is for their Thrifty Ice Cream haha. One flavor I get all the time and look forward to is the Birthday Cake flavor. It has the right amount of sprinkles and flavor of birthday cake of course. It reminds me of summer, coming here with friends during high school, and having a laugh. The past month though I got unlucky three times walking in with no restock of the Birthday Cake flavor. I was pretty bummed. UNTIL RECENTLY!!!!! (as seen in the picture) They accidentally gave me two dips (scoops) instead of one! I only had to pay for the price of one! I shared it with my boyfriend hehe.

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a pharmacy. I was told my prescription was ready and available for pickup two separate times and both times when I came in they told me they made a mistake. I drove a total of 80 miles, two separate days for absolutely nothing.

I wanted to do this review because it seems like it's been getting a not so great rap lately.... however this is really one of the BEST stores EG. It has everything and to be honest with you they got a new Manager he is wonderful. He has really really tried to get this store the way it should be and I can see rm the difference! His name is KENNE - I really hope I have a spelling right or it could be KENRE.... Either way I appreciate him I appreciate what hes done the store has everything you need andc it's in the most convenient location. Last but not least the ice cream that's enough to get you to go there on its own! Lol Thanks again to the new Manager for getting everything in order!

Hours on the door say 9am... closed at 930 and people inside won't acknowledge customers or answer the phone.(Edit) Back two days later... again not open on time. Standing outside with an employee who can't get ahold of anyone to let her in.Does Rite Aid have District Leadership? It is sorely needed here.

Rite Aid in Elk Grove gives me a shopping experience more like a smaller Target or Walmart. The storefront looks good. Very clean, and the sign on the front of the building seems standout. The store inside gave me a bright and concise feeling as soon as I walked in. They carried more items than Walgreens or CVS, and the items were displayed more beautifully. I know I'm shopping in a store. Not in a pharmacy. I like this feeling! One of the best of Rite Aid is they keep the Thrifty ice cream counter after they acquired Thrifty many years ago. I love ice creams. It gives me another reason to shop at Rite Aid. Lol! The employees at the checkout are friendly. The lady who handles the ice cream counter is lovely. The pharmacist is very busy there. But sometimes I really forget Rite Aid is a pharmacy store.

I've been going here for over 12 years, and the service fluctuates on customer load.With that being said, I've had better service here than other pharmacies in the area overall.I did the drive-through once! Almost fell asleep waiting in line.If you go in and it will take 20 minutes, they will text you when it's ready.

Nicole aka "Stacy the manager" on site this evening. No customer service, lacks managerial skills & lied about her name being "Stacy". Her name is Nicole as it is printed on my receipt pictured below. Very rude assisting myself & other customers. Regardless if you're having a bad day or another employee is having technical difficulties with their register, that does not give you a right to be ill-mannered. You don't even deserve the one star.

I have gone to this location several times to pick up my prescription and they never open on time. I have given them several opportunities and it never fails that they don’t open on time.
