Phenom has turned into the premier local spot for new shoe drops. They keep the heat in stock. It's a must visit spot if you want to check out the latest in street wear fashion. They have all the hottest kicks and clothes. I love having a spot like this so close to me and DOCO hit a home run landing this spot.

Owner confronted me in store after I put them on blast on social media after there tactics on sneaker releases. For example in order to purchase the Air Jordan playoff 12 you had to stand in line wearing there hoodie in order to purchase. Shady tactic right there just let us by the damn shoes if we show up fcfs, you don't want our money? why do we need to have a phenom hoodie? Thanks to the owner of Phenom I officially got sick of sneakers and quit. shout out to Phenom! Got more sneakers then the owners and employees combined.

Really didn't like any of the interactions with the employees there. One word answers, very little to no eye contact. You get the feeling they don't want you in there. I walked over toward the front to check and see if I could find some shoes to buy. I was then followed by one of the employees. He stood a few steps behind and pretended to be on his phone, but it was obvious he was watching me. After I realized they were uncomfortable with me in there I left.

Stepped foot into this store once. Never again. The place was super messy and 3 workers cared less about the fact that I came to their store. I don't support businesses that can't even act like they care about customers.

First experience there was not expressive, the shoes weren't displayed in a professional manner. Speaking of professional, I felt that they are not in the business of selling shoes. They didn't even try to sell me any sneakers, they never even ask me my size. The business looks like a storage room, not a sneaker shop. A one star was hard to give. Not impressed.

I have been to this store twice in the past couple of years and had the same experience each time. I don't think the staff actually care about making a sale. They are super disinterested and not very friendly. I really want to support local small business but I guess I'll have to go elsewhere.

For Sacramento, it's cool that there's a sneaker head type of boutique. When I first walked in I didn't realize how small this place was, some shoes were on the wall, some clothes racks on the wall, some in the middle, some clothes and shoes on a table. At the register they had shoes on a revolving sushi boats. I couldn't tell who worked there and who was buying products, the staff wasn't all too helpful or welcoming unless you asked about an item. Understandable. There were boxes of shoes on the floor, we asked about SB's we saw and they weren't for sale so it is confusing as why they wouldn't be stored in the back room since they're just on the floor and boxed. Honestly, if you want a more organized place to go to. Where they have their kicks in a more displayed manner, and the clothes are individually wrapped with prices already on it. Just drive the hour to Fairfield and to Solano Mall to the Bank of Hype. Dope shoes, dope clothes, dope staff. But if you're in sac and you're just looking for convenience, phenom I guess

Super door sneaker store in Elk Grove! I enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff was kind. Will definitely make them my go-to for sneakers and more!
