The dreaded "service engine" light came on. Reluctantly, I took my precious Chevy Volt to Maita Chevrolet. Not only were they able to get my baby completely taken care of, but Cruz made the experience enjoyable! She was delightful to talk to, and went above and beyond to make sure my repairs were covered by my warranty. By the end of the experience, I was almost sad that it was all over. I will be going back to get my oil changes there from here on out. Thank you, Cruz!

We went and traded in our Chevy avalanche for a newer Chevy, we were treated like royalty while we were there. We told them we wanted to finance through the golden 1 various times we still went back on Sunday to remind them to send the paper work through golden1. They did exactly what they wanted and put it through GM who had a higher rate! I was told Monday not to worry and didn't have to call back they would take care or everything!! We are so furious now the truck has been paid by GM. I will be contacting a Regional Manager. do not go to this dealer!!!

My wife and I went to Miata to look at a pre-owned Subaru Ascent on Oct 7, 2023. We were greeted by sales rep named Demonte (Day-mon-tay), who was exceptionally helpful and pleasant to interact with. We have nothing but applause for that young man. He was great. That's where the pleasantries end, though After we test drove the car, my wife and I decided to consider it further overnight since this particular vehicle's options were not our top picks, but a strong second. We returned to Maita on 10/8 in the morning to discuss buying the car we drove the day prior under the condition that we wanted to have our preferred auto shop do a pre-purchase inspection on the vehicle in Modesto. The finance person informed whose name escapes me, told us that our request could not be met. We could be allowed to take the vehicle to a local facility chaperoned by our sales rep for a pre-purchase inspection. We informed them that the folks at VW and Subaru around the corner were more than happy to make arrangements for us to have our Modesto shop look at a pre-owned vehicle for us. Moreover, the Subaru we bought prior came from a lot in Sacramento, where they allowed us to take the pre-owned car to Modesto for an inspection. Sacramento to Modesto is further than Elk Grove to Modesto, for the record. And you know what? We bought that car.Today, 10/10, Demonte called to see if I we were still interested in buying the Subaru we came to see. I had zero hesitation telling him that because of his boss's rigid stance we bought our car else where. I told him "because your boss sucks and wouldn't allow us to have our shop examine the car, Maita lost the sale." Furthermore, we bought a car on 10/9 from another facility and I wouldn't so much as buy a wiper blade from Maita. Hey Maita, it's pretty comical that your neighboring car sellers (VW and Subaru) around the corner would allow a potential customer to have a used car they were interested in, examined by their favorite mechanic in a different city, and you won't. The joke's on you, because you lost the sale. You guys suck and we will NEVER buy anything from your facility.

I had a transmission issue with my 2010 Chevy Malibu. Cruz was my service representative and was a true pleasure to work with, she kept me informed on the process along the way and called me back quickly if I left a message. I would definitely take my car back if I had to.

Dealer prices are always higher, but the moral integrity was never lower here. I brought my car in for an oil change even though the price is higher because I trusted that the Chevy dealer was the best choice for my Chevy. Placing trust in this dealership was my first mistake. After the oil change and regular inspection that's included, I was told that my rear brakes were wearing so unevenly that one side was practically "metal on metal" and that side was also out of specification. I'd never noticed any kind of braking issue and never heard a single squeak from this car. This was only the second oil change I've had done as I purchased it used and have put less than 10k miles on it. I know VERY little about cars, but I DO know that metal on metal= bad, but I also know that the left and right should be wearing some what evenly and that the discrepancy was concerning. Prior to even completing the purchase of this car I had it inspected at a local shop to make sure nothing was wrong. The amount of wear on the pads between what they noted and what Maita tried to tell me I was at given the miles would be...impressive. I took it for a second opinion and wouldn't you know, no metal on metal, no huge discrepancy in wear, and nothing out of specification. Did this place think it was probably time for me to consider replacing the brakes? Yes. Did they try to take advantage of me and rely on fear tactics to make me pay for a service I didn't really need because I'm a woman? No. I will give credit where credit is due and say that the Maita cashiers and the service advisor were very nice, but I no longer trust this dealership. Maita may have been around a long time, but if these are the kind of dishonest technicians they employ I won't be bringing my car back here for any reason and I definitely won't be coming here when it's time to upgrade this to a Suburban. Also, before you respond with some type of "let's make this right!" kind of post to save face. My immediate response is: No. Employee integrity should never be questioned. If you have honest employees who DO the right thing from the beginning, you'll never have to "make it right" later.

ZERO STARS the service department sucks I took my 2014 silverado in for an abs brake bleed which should take a couple hours max, days later they said i needed to replace my brake booster because the pedal isnt stiff ok have you done an abs bleed, well no we cant verify that the booster you installed is good, ok replace it then a few days later and $1200 lighter I pick the truck up and pedal to the floor I go back abd again did you do an abs bleed well no! This is unacceptable 2weeks and $1200 later you still didnt so what I asked and my truck is the same way as when I brought it in, finally gave me a rental and did abs bleed now my teuck is back. I WILL NEVER BUY A CHEVEROLET AGAIN BECAUSE MAITA CHEVEROLET IS THE CLOSET TO ME!!! A couple years later today I had an appointment to get a recall fixed on my chevy caprice ppv and i get there early and to no avail they didnt order the part, moral of story dont go to Maita Cheverolet they will screw you and give no solution and dont care !!! @cheveroletcorporate they are ruining your brand

I went through about a half hour of online pre-sale questions online followed by several texts about a purchase of a vehicle which was listed for sale. I confirmed an appointment to test drive and purchase the car. About an hour later I received a call from a sales manager who was professional and polite informing me "They" had taken the car to a show and it would not be available until Monday. This car was just listed last night. Very unethical. I am at least happy they called prior to me driving an hour. ***Follow up*** I was informed today the vehicle sold yesterday (The same day I inquired about it). I guess I wasn't worthy to purchase it. I bought from another dealer yesterday. I suggest you do the same.

We bought our Colorado Truck in 2017 only because Michael Kim was a sales representative there. We've kept up our maintenance check at Maita Chevrolet in Elk Grove. We were leaving for Las Vegas and at the last minute decided to drive there with the truck. We made an appointment dropped it off the night before to give all of the next day to work on it and not rushing them. They thankfully got it done for us!The girls in the office were amazing as well, Especially Cruz C.She sent us the Multi Inspection form that didn't print out when we picked up our car. She sent the form with a beautifully written Thank Card and telling us to have a great time in Las Vegas. This was back in January but much appreciated! Please give Kudos to Cruz C. From us.

Horrible experience here. I just came to test drive and left after car salesman tried getting me to sign paperwork & run my credit before the price was discussed. They will try to sound honest & like they're helping you but do not respect your needs or boundaries. Worst dealership experience ever.

Tried to buy a used Camaro, worked with sales women Sydney who had excellent service. Drove car loved it was ready to make a deal then was handed off to desk guy, didn't catch his name, he was a little guy. Told me he was basically going to hose me on my trade if I wanted the car. I was like we don't have any room to move at all? He basically told me to F off. Then I told him the deal was a** and he was like what did you say? Like he was going to start a fight with me? Real classy place. Must be nice to be able to turn buyers away.

My 2022 2500HD LTZ had damaged threads on a wheel stud. Brought it in to Elk Grove Maita Chevrolet where the service advisor Vince helped me book a appointment to have stud replaced with OEM part. Vince was professional and courteous, and helped me from the beginning to the end of the process. Glad I brought it to this location because they took care of my concern with no charge since my truck is under warranty. Thank You Maita Chevrolet of Elk Grove!

I've coming to Maita for nearly a decade. I had not owned a Chevy since 1997. When I took another shot at Chevy a decade ago, Alfredo Sandoval is a major reason I've been completely satisfied and bought more Chevys since. Alfredo has brought a level of service I never experienced before in Chevy ownership. He is mainly the reason I came back and stayed. Kudos to Alfredo for such a high level of service!!

I will never buy another Chevrolet vehicle again after the experience with the service team. After 28 days and over $400 in lyft rides I have my car back. I spent the first 3 weeks without a car, I did not receive a rental until the 22nd day. The entire time I was being treated like they were doing me a favor, instead of owning up to the terrible service I was receiving and complete lack of accountability and compassion. I took my car in July 19th because I was having transmission problems caused by a "special occurrence" which just sounds like they don't want to own up to a whole line of transmissions being faulty. Within the first week my new transmission was in except now there was a check engine light on (was not there when I took it in), they said a sensor may have been damaged in the installation of the transmission, but they had to ship it in. By the 28th the part had been installed, however my car was still having problems. It was told to me that the transmission was the problem and they needed Chevrolet Headquarters permission to switch it out for another one. It took until August 10th to get it approved and installed. On August 10th I got a call saying the check engine light is still on and they see a warped flywheel that had not been noticed, so they had to order it from Michigan. On august 10th, 22 days after taking my car in they authorized a rental car. I picked up my car Monday August 15th, the new fly wheel had been installed, they had also changed one headlight at no cost, and the only work I approved outside of the transmission was having my coolant tank replaced. When I went in to pick up my car I looked at the bill for $177.65 when I was told I was only being charged for the $70 tank and $10 of gas I approved. Once it was pointed out it was corrected. Overall there was no ownership for the time and money I spent to get to and from work, their lack of urgency and follow through cost me hundreds as well as my mental health while I did nothing without a car and no one seemed to care. We even ran out of groceries, and I had to wait to have time to have a family member take me because we do not live within walking distance of a store.
