I’m glad there is a Joann’s in EG, but this one is a little sad. A lot of sparse shelves and patchy inventory. Weird pickup pull-up area. Always a queue to check out and typically 1-2 cashiers. There is one awesome employee - special shoutout to him- he’s a taller guy with a deep voice- always excellent service and goes above and beyond.

I was disappointed when I got to this location, employees where rude not helpful at all. They didn't have the paint I was looking for even though the website said it was in stock. I had to go else where. Total waste of time.

The store is pretty disorganized, and there are many empty shelves. It seems like they don't have enough workers to handle this big store. The custom framing is no longer available! A lot of stuff is not nicely presented in the best way it should be. I hope JOANN will be able to reorganize this store soon!

This is a hard one to review because I'm not sure if the business is actually in business or not. Half the shelves are empty and when you walk in it looks like you have just walked into a going out of business sale. Not one employee said a word to us until we walked up to have our fabric cut. The employee who cut the fabric was amazing, she really was a nice person. And... the fabric was 50% off, again is this a going out of business sale? Who knows but that's a good deal... three yards of fabric for $10 not bad. I would probably shop there again if I needed fabric and it was 50% off like this time, but if I need anything else I'll go to Michael's or Hobby Lobby because they don't have anything else in stock.

Terrible. Just went in to pick up some yarn, and the older white lady Jennifer with short grey hair, scissor pins around her name tag and glasses was EXTREMELY rude. Awful customer service Jennifer needs to be fired. She rolled her eyes multiple times talking to me, giving me attitude for no reason! She didn't even say hello. Will be taking this up with a higher up. On the other hand, a younger red haired lady was very inviting and nice! Please get rid of Jennifer Joanns, SO disappointing, I just wanted yarn.

The restroom was totally unacceptable. It was filthy, no toilet paper, no paper towels, and no soap. I didn't make my purchase. I had to leave to use the restroom somewhere else. It's awful if the employees also have to use that restroom.

I was very disappointed that I didn't get the item I ordered online. The website and their location confirmed that it was in stock. I arrived and did more shopping before asking for my online order. While I was checking out, I received an email confirming that my order had been cancelled. The cashier asked a manager about it, and he confirmed that yes, they do have it in the store but, it's in the back and in a "small box". I thought to myself and why can't you go and look for it.? He wasn't doing anything. He was just walking around pretending to look busy. I did send an email to corporate. I'm not sure what that will do if anything at all. I did keep my email receipt for the item because I was able to use a coupon and it was a great deal. To say the least, when this item is in stock, I will go get it at another location and will insist that I get the price that I paid online. Very clean store and organized. The cashier was nice and helpful. Her boss on the other hand not helpful at all. She said, his name but, I forgot. He has very dark hair and medium height.
My 2 STARS are for the cleanliness of the store and for the helpfulness of the cashier!
This is an additional review for the same location. I came in today 10/8/23 for a cutting mat that the app says is in stock. A very nice cashier(dark hair/black mask) looked for it and even called another store.
This is the 2nd time that I've driven to get an item and the store does not have it. I decided to purchase some fabric since I drove all the way there. While I was waiting for the young lady to cut my fabric, I put my plastic drink cup on the cutting counter. And the store manager (Kirsten) rudely told me that cups are not allowed on the cutting table. What am I, 2 years old.? I think I'm done with the EG Joann's.

Answered in fair amount of time. But wouldn’t tell me if they had certain type of fabric without a code number and wouldn’t look and doesn’t know his inventory. Was very short. I will not ever go to his store!!

Very friendly staff. I get inspired walking around Joann's. I thought my items would be more expensive but I got 40-50% most my items because of a sale. A little under stocked right now so I'm guessing they are getting rid of their spring and summer stock.

Best coupons are the 50% off 60% off or higher anything under that is a bad one. Hopefully they'll do sale small food color tubes 2 for 1$ since they are small. You can find good clearance on fake flowers and decor. They better do 75% off coupon one day only email everyday one item only or off purchase.
