We have been looking for a fridge for the past 4 days and let me tell you, Dennis and Justice were so helpful.. After being frustrated with which one to choose based on our house measurements, we were fed up and the gentleman name CHRIS was SO helpful and made the entire process so easy for us. We left Home Depot so happy because or Chris!! Chris, Justice and Dennis are located in the Appliance department. If you need someone in appliance then go to these 3 folks. Great people! Value, not terrible nor great.

I came here looking for some plants to add to my vegetable garden. I initially went to Green Acres but the line there was horrendous, so I decided to go here instead. The selection they have is mediocre. And they seem to only carry one brand- Bonnie. They also don't have multiple packs meaning you could only buy plants in single pots versus buying a 6 pack. The plants also don't look well maintained. Several were wilted and there was a pile of dying plants left out for customers to see. This was all outside in the front of the store. I then went to the garden center hoping there were more vegetable plants in that area. Nope. So all they have is what you see out front. Here's the annoying part. When it was time to pay for my items, I proceeded to the register. Keep in mind I used the registers in the garden center and not the main store. There were 2 registers but only one was staffed. The woman working was just standing there and didn't look approachable. I was the only customer there at this time. I was thinking maybe the registers were self-checkout only since the worker wasn't trying to interact with me. So I had to be the one to greet her and ask where I could check out. This is one of my pet peeves for real. I hate when, as a customer, it becomes your responsibility to get the staff to do their job. So I asked, "can I check-out here?" She said, "Yes" and proceeded to scan my items. She didn't say a word. Just scanned my things and handed me the receipt, no eye contact or anything. Home Depot, you all need to do better with customer service.

I went into Home Depot on this morning to purchase paint. The person working the paint counter took my order (reluctantly) and asked me to give her 10 minutes to complete the job. I decided to sit directly across from the paint department to wait for my order. After approximately 10 minutes, the person that took my order placed a can of paint on the counter, looked me directly in my face ( saying nothing ) and then walked away from the paint station. After about 20 minutes, I didn't notice anyone in the paint department so I approached the counter and saw that my paint was just sitting there. The paint person working just walked away without notifying me that my paint was ready for pick up. Well, I was upset so I walked to the customer service area to speak with a member of management about the situation. When I approached the customer service area, I was greeted by Lowanna. After explaining the situation, Lowanna was so gracious and sweet and went above and beyond to apologize on behalf of her coworkers actions and to make the situation right. THANK YOU Lowanna for your EXCEPTIONAL customer service. I was ready to give up on this Home Depot but because of employees like you, I will continue shopping here. Thank you again Lowanna for being so awesome.:0)

I want to thank Gabby and Dania of the paint department for the excellent service they provided today! I came in with two cans of paint I had purchased back on February 11th. I had no receipt and was just hoping they might be able to adjust the colors to something darker. They worked together and came up with a perfect result for me. Excellent customer service provided by these two folks. You colored my world! Kudos!

Do not buy gift cards from Home Depot. We have now tried to redeem two and both had already been used. They were purchased at Home Depot in Elk Grove and used by someone else ten days later in Southern California. The back of the card had not been scratched off to redeem the code. We have been unsuccessful in getting any assistance from Home Depot so we are just out $150. I strongly recommend you dont buy their gift cards because the odds are pretty good that all you will get is a phone number to call and a run around.

I went to the Elk Grove store just to buy a couple things with my gift card. I accidentally forgot it at home so my wife took a picture of it so I could scan it. I went back in line where the lady at self check out had my items. I asked her if I could scan the barcode from my phone and she told me flat out they couldn't do that. The barcode is clear as day on my 4k phone and she kept saying they don't do that. So I stepped out of line, came back and scanned the picture of the barcode myself and sure enough it worked. Word of advice, dont have your lone self service checkout person be someone who lacks critical thinking skills.

Been here a few times in the last week and the service we have been receiving lately has been phenomenal. Love the selection on products I am looking for and the prices. I love this customer service turnaround. I hate going somewhere and be pointed to the direction. Love the fact that I was asked if I could be assisted in locating the item. Yes, please! Great job to Efrain for his friendly and amazing customer service. It felt like my tío (uncle) was helping me out. Very personable.

The service was terrible! They said that my order was ready on their unreliable app. Spoiler alert, they did not have my order ready! I went there at 4:00 P.M. today to pick up a door knob for curbside pickup. I had to sit there for twenty minutes to wait for my order! In the time they took to get me my item, I could have went in and got it myself! If I am being honest, the service is better at 5:00 P.M. on a Friday, the busiest time to go by the way, at the Target nearby. At Least Target actually has a reliable app that tells you honestly that your order is ready. These businesses are some of the most unorganized places I have ever seen. Furthermore, this curbside pickup is just like any other random place trying to following the trend and failing to do so. More specifically, they are just all trying to copy Target's success of curbside pickup during the pandemic. For everyone's sake Home Depot, get your logistics together!

Came here last week and i was forced to use self checkout because there was no check stands open at all. When I start getting a paycheck from Home Depot I'll start scanning my own items until then either I'll go to a cashier or Home Depot is not getting my money.

This comment is not concerning the actual store. But for the company that Home Depot contracts with to do delivery and installation for appliances. On my 3rd reschedule and I called this morning and they said the couldn't find me on the schedule!! The lack of quality customer service is deplorable. I would like to give zero stars! This will be my first and last time buying a large appliance from the Home Depot. Please do a better job of vetting your contractors.

My husband is a licensed contractor so we go to Home Depot very often. He was at the Medowview store in Sacramento with my son and put in his phone number for rewards when Irene, the young cashier, asked for it, he told her he had already put it in and was asked to do it again. He did it and then the cashier proceeded to ask my son if my husband was always that grumpy. I found that totally disrespectful! My husband dis not make any comments to her about doing it again or deserved to be called grumpy. I just couldn't believe her disrespect!

Worst service imaginable. Located item online stating it was available. Asked customer service for help locating in store. Attempted to locate it ourselves. Waited 30 mins for help at lighting section. Asked customer service to call for help twice. Still no help. I think I'll stick to Lowe's from now on.

I wanted to give a big YELP out to the Home Depot for some of the best service and help ever! I stopped in to buy an umbrella and needed some help. I asked someone to send over some help and Gabrial appeared quickly. This man loaded my selection, helped my check out and then loaded it in the car. He was smiling always and very professional. Positive people make my day! Thanks Home Depot for hiring Gabrial!

Waited over 45 minutes to get assistance. Nobody seems to care about customer help and in my time waiting I watched two other customers, long besides myself that left their product and chose to go to a different store. This is been by far the worst as a long time valued customer
