Absolute worst customer service ever!!! I want to buy an outback and they wont even call me back! First i spoke to a salesman who didnt even know about rates and all he cared about was wasting my time, second time i went i i spoke to another salesman who didnt even have an outback for me to drive. He said we have to go to another lot to see them. Complete waste of my time again, Then i call to speak to an internet manager and Isiah and I havent even got to drive one yet. I know exactly what model i want and he wont even send me numbers to figure out what way i want to go to make it fit in my budget. Im trying to do this over the phone so i can just come in and sign and drive away! They wont even give me numbers unless i come it so they can waste hrs of my time! Absolut worst customer service i have ever experienced! Do not go to Elk Grove Subaru unless you want very inexperienced salesman to waste your time with zero knowledge of inventory or interest rates! The salesman cant even tell me they have .9 % interst. He said whatever the bank thinks is ok is what we do!

I bought a vehicle at Elk Grove Subaru, and was able to negotiate down to a reasonable price, even though they tried to up charge me with ridiculously overpriced add-ons that I did not want. The salesperson I worked with kept me waiting for long periods of time and would raise his voice at me because I was negotiating an out the door price instead of agreeing to a sticker price (which they were claiming was MSRP). I got a premium forester reduced from $32,700 not including taxes + registration (which would but it close to 36k total) to out the door price of 33,200 which includes the taxes + reg. Saved 2,500 dollars. The reason why I am giving them 2 stars: 1) long and unreasonable wait times to get to an agreement to out the door price. the sales person would pretend to consult the manager, but i would see him wandering off, or sitting around without speaking to anyone. 2) Salesperson initially quoted me over 7% APR rate which is crazy because my credit score is above 800. i laughed in their face and told them no. They told me they had a special APR rate for me of 4.9% at 60months, I asked them if it was a sell rate (% bank actually approved you for) vs. buy rate (what bank approved you for + a few % added by dealership so they profit). They told me it was neither and was a special rate. I didn't do my due diligence and realized afterwards they lied to me when I double checked subaru's website. The sell rate was at 3.9%, and I was tricked into 4.9%. I emailed the finance manager to confirm, and he ignored my email. 3) Gap insurance - finance manager quoted me at close to 900 dollars. I negotiated down to 700. But I believe the true cost was closer to 500. I emailed finance manager to provide me a copy of the gap insurance that I paid for in order to confirm coverage type and he still has not done so. I plan to continue to email to ensure I get a copy of the gap coverage policy in case they lied on what is covered (finance mgr told me it was 150% coverage + deductible). Would only recommend this dealership if you go into fully prepped, confident and ready to stubbornly negotiate. otherwise, this place will rip you off.

Bought a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek. Great experience with salesman Curtis Jare and finance manager Joe Trajo. Got an amazing price on a CPO vehicle with low mileage. straight forward conversation with no pressure or games. Answered all my questions and stayed till late to close the sale. Also the service department is great - guys there quick to help (put on new wheel locks and reviewed computer service reminder app with me). Amazing selection of vehicles. Everyone on the floor super helpful and nice. My first Subaru and am very happy about my purchase.

Joe and David in finance are fantastic! They helped us get the car we wanted with a significant negative equity to trade in. They had to be creative to make this deal happen. Lesson learned. Subaru is the best way to go if you want a good resell value for your car. Nissa left us with 15k negative equity after a year of using it. Thanks guys!

I am never disappointed with the service here at Elk Grove Subaru. They always give me an accurate time estimate and their lobby is comfortable and stocked with drinks and snacks. Omar Gonzales is always very helpful and explains all the issues I have with my car in depth and treats me like a valued customer. I appreciate the ease of communication with texts and emails. I won't go anywhere else.

Joe and Craig are absolutely wonderful and one of the nicest car/customer service people I have ever met. Wow! To say we had a wonderful experience isn't even enough. We drove 2 hours way and from beginning to end we were greeted with professionalism and felt like family! We got there at 7:30 and they close at 8, and still managed to stay up with us all night for the perfect mom car for me! I know it's a business, but to feel like your treated with kindness and family goes along way!! Kindness goes along way! They were incredible in helping us get the best deal, answered every question, and helped entertain a busy and tired toddler throughout the whole experience. Craig and Joe are so hardworking and it shows they have the honesty and experience in their dedicated work! I am coming back to get a tint service with them because I appreciated their location. Grateful to have walked in that night and bought with them!

I never enjoyed my experience here in the past. They have a new manager, and a new manager of service. I highly recommend the sales person name, Keaton! I found him to be very easy to work with, he does not put shoot toward something you don't want and is very knowledgeable on everything Subaru. I would always call and ask for Keaton before heading over!

The service is excellence, but try to call them or get in contact with a service advisor or parts is difficult. The phone number listed on Yelp is wrong. I've tried to google Elk Grove Subaru, to get a phone number is was wrong. I had to drive myself to Subaru to schedule an appointment for my Subarus and drive myself back to see if my car is ready. Elk Grove Subaru knows that the phone number on yelp and on Google is wrong, they've decided not to do anything. I advise anyone who owns a Subaru go to another dealership

I would rate this experience zero stars if I could. In my opinion, the person who assisted us was both inexperienced and impolite. I have no intention of returning to this establishment, as I believe it's overpriced. I had to explain the issue with my Subaru to the technician since he didn't understand, and he seemed to inflate the costs as much as he could. Furthermore, my car never had any issues during the 60,000 miles I drove it until I brought it in for service, and then a week later, it started leaking...

Car was only 5 years old and electrical failures caused me to trade it in for a Nissan. Subaru dealer had lousy service - they made it impossible to upgrade my 3G system to the new 5G. I have never had a problem with any of my three Nissans or the three Nissan dealerships I've dealt with.

Yesterday we had a wonderful experience at the Subaru Dealership in Elk Grove! We had been to probably 5 dealerships all of which claim to have cars on their lot and we would get there and they would have 2 with the rest in transit. When we showed up yesterday they had over a hundred new cars on the lot. Deon was our sales person and usually we car salesmen to be very off putting, but he was really great! It was such a low pressure situation which we always appreciate. I also was slightly upside down on my trade in and they worked with me to get top dollar. I believe the sales managers (aka the closer who is always so aggressive) name was Aaron and even he was pretty mellow. Such a wonderful buying experience that I don't think we will buy cars from any other Subaru!

Bought my 2023 Subaru Outback Premium at Elk Grove Subaru. Could not be more pleased and estatic with my care. The service and professionalism was above and beyond. Very willing to work with tge customer without feeling pressured. I must thank in parricular Alex and forgive me if I am remembering his name incorrectly, Omar? the financial officer. Thank you so much! Our Benny, 4 legged! Loves it too! Strongly recommend Elk Grove Subaru...worth the drive all the way from San Francisco!

I try to to make appointment to do service. I have been try to contact them 2 days at different time morning and afternoon. No body answer the phone and l left an message and wish them call me back. But asap means next day morning before 7am. So I was still in the bed and miss the call. I'm think I have to walk-in to make that appointment. Very disappointed. Hope u can do better in the future.
