I went here today and bought a honda civic. My experience was great! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I dealt with Sam and Bryan, needless to say they were both just so amazing! Very informative and proactive gentlemen. I was in and out within a few hours (which should be expected when purchasing a car). My family and i had great conversation with these guys and overall it was an easy going process. 5 stars to you guys for the fantastic experience! And thank you!

Consistently quality service and very kind and knowledgeable staff. Dealerships have a reputation for being overly expensive for service but I do not find that to be the case at Elk Grove Honda, and the level of service and expertise is worth it.

My experience at this dealership was far from pleasant. I came in looking to switch from another brand to a Honda CR-V Hybrid. Initially, the gentleman who assisted me was great—he was courteous and provided a lot of information upfront about the car. After a test drive, he asked for my details, and I explained my leasing intentions for the vehicle. When he started filling out the credit report form (without my consent), and then at the asked for my Social Security number. I declined, stating that I wanted to ensure it was the right deal before running my credit. He didn’t seem to mind, but things changed when he informed his manager.
From the moment the manager got involved, he was aggressive and unpleasant. It was clear he didn’t appreciate that I wouldn’t let them run my credit before we had negotiated or reached a deal. He then presented numbers that were far higher than what was advertised on their website. When I pointed out the discrepancies in the money factor, total car cost, and lease plan, the manager dismissively said, “Oh, Honda doesn’t get excited when customers want to lease.” I was shocked. Not making a deal is totally fine, but being rude and saying Honda doesn’t get excited for new customers is unwelcoming and completely unprofessional.
He told me to wait while he got new numbers. But instead of returning with an updated offer, he came back after a minute and bluntly said, “No, we’re not making this deal.” His behavior was incredibly disrespectful. It was an extremely bad experience, and I will never visit this dealership again.
If Honda truly isn’t excited for new customers leasing their vehicles, I would suggest staying away and choosing another dealership.

My only concern is I was denied to pay over the phone for the service,my daughter would have been stuck there and there is not any other option to pay but in person?a lot of dealerships has an option to pay online/or secure link in case like this happen.otherwise service is excellent and they are all very friendly and. Courteous.we also purchased a new car there 2years ago EG Honda is our new home here in Elk Grove as we’re originally from the bay.i would like to continue to use this dealership for all our vehicle maintenance/repair.however I’m kind of disappointed at todays visit to say the least
I will give a 5 star for the ones that helped my daughter .
