Was told about their "premium membership benefits" but the service I needed was not available
(after sales person told me it was).
Immediately returned the computer I purchased and got it elsewhere. In the end, saved $$ I didn't want to spend.

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with an employee named Darryl at Best Buy. My appointment for a radio installation was scheduled for this weekend, and I had already prepaid for the service. However, Darryl called me ahead of time and was extremely rude and unprofessional. He insisted that I should buy a radio from Best Buy instead, claiming he only works on expensive name-brand radios.
This behavior is completely unacceptable, especially considering our prior agreement. Darryl's attitude was condescending and unhelpful. To make matters worse, he refused to let me speak to management when I requested it. This level of customer service is appalling and has left me frustrated and without the service I had been promised. I strongly urge management to address Darryl's conduct immediately to prevent further negative experiences for other customers...

I came in to this store in March 2024 to buy a simple micro SD card for my handheld gaming device. I settled for the 500g card because the 1tb card was going to cost more than I wanted to spend. The gentleman behind the counter started to practically beg me to sign up for their gold membership credit card, I was reluctant but eventually I let him sign me up because I had grown tired of the debate. I then asked him to just charge my current debit card, because I had no intentions of ever using my new best buy card.
Now it’s June, and I’ve started receiving calls from random numbers 24/7 telling me I owe them money. I finally indulge one of the random number callers, only to find out that these are callers from Citibank, and they’re trying to get ahold of me because my “purchase” from March is unpaid, and it has been incurring additional charges without my knowledge. Keep in mind: I NEVER RECEIVED A PHYSICAL CREDIT CARD.
So, since I’m left with no other choice, I chose to call, pay off the card, and close it out. (I even had to ACTIVATE the card and CREATE an account just to close it.) My $85 micro SD Card purchase has suddenly become a $225 charge to my account and a hit on my credit. Upon further investigation with Citibank, I found out that the cashier just charged the non-physical credit card anyways. These people are running a scam. Stay far away from them and their credit cards.

I purchased a Otterbox phone case online and went to pick it up yesterday curbside, when the young man came to bring me the phone case it looked weird. I order a clear phone case and as I looked further is was used and yellow and scratched up and sticky all over it. I stated why would you bring me a used cell phone case that I paid over $30 for. He tried to convince me that’s how it looked lol. I said I only buy these cases and they are not yellow and dirty and scratched up. I asked for the manager and he said no manager was available. It’s always a manager available especially trying to give customers used items. Nonetheless he never canceled my order and I had to go and manually do it after he said he would but didn’t. Make sure you check your items because it appears that they are giving customers returns and charging them new prices.

I can't remember the last time I went to Best Buy but I needed a monitor cable and they had one. It wasn't as busy as it used to be but it was mid week, mid day. You won't see CDs or DVDs anymore but they still have lots of stuff and you can walk in and buy it and take it home. Best Buy is still hanging in there. Don't forget them.
