Sheldon Ace Hardware is a locally owned and operated store that is part of the community, committed to being the helpful place. The staff is always polite, super friendly, helpful, kind, sweet, nice, professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, and available. They are willing to help in the search for whatever is needed, know their stuff, and know where it is. Customers feel welcomed and greeted with smiles. The store has a great selection and a ton of stuff, with an impressive selection of products and services. It doesn't look big but has almost everything one needs, allowing customers to avoid other stores. It is a perfect store for the area and more of an old school hardware store. Helpful services include filling propane tanks or doing propane exchanges, which is lovely and rare. They also have locally made pies in a freezer by the checkout, called the best impulse buy ever. It is the only hardware store to go to, where helping you is the most important thing.

I love having an Ace relatively close to home. They almost always have what I'm in need for, and the staff is always super friendly and helpful. Perfect store for the Wilton area.

I live in the Greenhaven/pocket area. I went for Sheldon Ace for family. I made arrangements to get pellets for a stove because of elderly.. Anyways, Sheldon Ace was so kind, sweet, helpful, and nice. Good people, helpful people. I felt welcomed in the store. Greeted with smiles.
