I’ve been a loyal AAA member for years, and my experiences have always been positive until my recent visit to the Orchard Loop location. I brought my car in for servicing, and when it was time to pay, I used Apple Pay, which showed “approved” on the terminal. However, the associate, Gary, told me the payment didn’t go through. When I checked my transaction history, I discovered the exact amount I was charged at AAA had instead gone through to a nearby Cinnabon.
In an already stressful situation, Gary’s response was dismissive and disrespectful. I found it very odd that he refused to take cash payment and urged only Apple pay for choice of payment. This experience has left me feeling frustrated, exploited, victimized and apprehensive with the service and security of the payment system at this location. I expected more attentiveness from a company I’ve trusted for so long.
Hopefully, this issue can be addressed, as I know AAA can do better.

Dealt with such great staff when I took my car at AAA Auto repair was fast and easy process they did an amazing job . I am beyond impressed and happy and definitely recommend this location .

This morning I was driving my Toyota Prius and I notice the light for low tire pressure was on, so I went to the gas station and unfortunately the air pump was not working, I didn’t want to drive my car on the freeway so I decided to take it to the nearest shop, when I got in I was help by Josh one friendly mechanic and I Explain My Problem to him, not only was kind to look at my tire he also check the other three. I’m so thankful for the assistance from Josh and I will try next time that I need any service to go down AAA Service and ask for Josh!

Diagnosed issue and fixed it fast. I will use them again. Not thrilled you can't pay with cash anymore what's up with that.

Did they fix my vehicle? yes.
Did their estimate take 3 business days to get to me? Yes, AND they called me repeatedly in the span of three hours when I took a couple days to get the funding secured and they wanted an answer.
Did they mark up the parts 30% and only reveal/apologize for it TO MY INSURANCE COMPANY when they called to ask why the repair was so much? Strangely... yep!
I had to get the repair done faster than the timeline I've previously had with my insurance, so we got it taken care of, and while my claims adjuster was getting the payment ready, they chose to reveal it to him. They told him straight out that if they had known I was going to use insurance that they would not have marked up the costs like that- which left him in the position to have to call me and explain why my insurance refund looked like I was being shorted by over $800 (since the mark up was so large they could not cover it).
Add this insult to injury: I am a lifelong AAA member, and was still treated like this. I won't be returning and I WILL be reporting this to corporate as well as BBB.

My girlfriend took her car to get a coolant exchange, the next day her car stalled in the middle of the 110° day while she was driving.
We had the tow truck driver tow her vehicle to the same location where she had her coolant exchanged. A few days later, the service agent called her to explain that the vehicle was fixed, they drove the car 30 miles, and we shouldn't have any more problems. Great! She left, drove her car for about an hour, and it stalled again, but at my house, thankfully; and not on the highway. The next morning, I drove her car to AAA auto repair to get the car repair as the service agent obviously lied to us that it was fixed. The service agent and mechanic stated they didn't know what was wrong and were only looking for Codes to tell them what was wrong with the vehicle. So they gave us back the car. Then I walked next door to Auto Tech Service & Repair. They fixed the problem within a few hours! My car works well, and they did it without Codes! Also, their prices are very reasonable and affordable.
AAA insurance is great, just not their repair shops.

Made an appointment, which was easy. The guys took care of my car, the AC is running great now. Just in time for the summer heat. Great customer service from the front desk.

My pickup overheated. They said it was the water pump. $2000 later I still smelled antifreeze and saw signs of leaking. Took it back and they said it was the radiator cap. Never showed me the the old water pump. They would not make any kind of adjustments or compensation. $2000 for a $25 part. I’ll never go back.
