I NEVER leave negative reviews for a company unless they truly deserve it. Long story short. I had scheduled an appointment today (2/21/24) for service on a refrigerator between 10am-noon. I waited patiently until 1:30pm due to the tech never showing up or calling to say that he was running behind. Finally, after making contact (I had to call), I asked if he could come by later in the day and he said he was too busy. So, does A-1 appliance bypass people with appointments by cancelling and not calling to let them know, just to catch up for the day? Everybody's time is important and not all of us have all day to wait for their 10 am appointment. Give yourself piece of mind and go with a company that's going to treat you like a valued customer. Sure, delays are expected, but curtesy calls and genuine respect for people's time is just as important.

Worse experience ever. If you don't mind having your quote doubled after they have your stuff half loaded. And you are not concerned about the truth or when you get your stuff and if it's in good shape this is the one for you. We finally got our stuff and they sent one guy in flip flops to unload. It took 3 hours. And even though they said they were not a broker I am positive that they are. Do Not Use!!!

I was impressed with Repairman Andrey did a great job cleaning & putting it back together I was expecting to pay more for the Service but cheaper than anybody else! Definitely will use A1 Repair Service in the FutureService: Dryer repair

I'm beyond upset with this company. I was having issues with my washing machine and I got their number from a friend. Although they may have been a recommendation, I am so frustrated with the amount of unprofessionalism they have displayed in this experience. When I first made the appointment, they gave me a four hour window appointment 1PM-5PM. I took time off of work, even sent my daughter off to my parents waiting for the repair guy. The company calls me @ 4:30PM to reschedule. The person I talked to was not unempathic at all. She didn't apologize for the delay and just said she'll call the tech to see if he could come. I gave them a 4 hour window and they blew it. I will never work with this company and my recommendation is to not go with them because they are unprofessional, flakes and this has just been the worst experience ever!!!

Was having a issue with my stove and gave A1 a call . Very fair business as he charged me the Minimal service call price to repair it. Highly recommended

WOW. Amazing service. Same day availability, the tech was at my house within hours of us calling. Andrey was quick to diagnose the issue, had the parts needing replacement on hand, and had my washing machine up and running like new in no time for a fraction of what it would have cost for a new one. He knew what he was doing and was extremely professional. I was thoroughly impressed and will definitely be using this service again, and recommending to all my family and friends!!

Andre was great. On time. Called ahead. Had to come back (something had to thaw). Came back on time while calling ahead. Explained everything to where I understood. Also told me a lot about my refrigerator and the maker - and what to look out for. And the fee was lower than most.

Very disappointing experience. I have a GE refrigerator that is making noises and scheduled a technician to stop by between 2-4pm to look at it. I requested that they call me in advance before arriving at my home. Waited throughout the afternoon and finally received a call from the technician after 5pm that he was on his way. By that time, I had left my home to run errands. It would have been nice and courteous had the technician let me know he was going to be late and not meet the 2-4pm service window. My refrigerator still has issues, I need to schedule a technician from another company to come out, and need to take time off of work again. A waste of time.

So, on Thursday Nov. 16 2017 we had an appointment between 1 and 5 for a service call. A technician was supposed to show up between those hours and let us know if our refrigerator- which had just gone kaput- was worth saving. My husband decided to stay home to meet the repairman. 4:45 rolls around, and since my husband received no call from the service technician he decided to call A1 Appliance directly. The young lady informed my husband that the technician was in route. 5p came and went, so did 6p. My daughter and I ran to the store, came home, I asked had the service technician ever made it. My husband says no. No call, no text, so he decides to call the office around 6p, wouldn't you know they were closed. I figured they would call on the following Saturday with an explanation and apology. No, no they didn't. So I gave them Monday, they didn't call then either, so I called Tuesday explained what happened and let the young lady who answered the phone, Vikki, know just how unprofessional I think her company is. She explained to me that the technician informed them that he completed the service call, I informed her I would not be calling had that been the case. No manager has called to apologize for that day as of yet. I'm sure they got paid for that day, but unfortunately my husband didn't, maybe they should think about that before wasting an individual's time. Terrible company. We ended up calling Sears they charge 9 dollars more than A1 appliance, but it's worth it for prompt, professional service.

After I arranged for service, I got a call when the service person was due to arrive. I was then asked to change the service date to two days later. I had initially told A-1 I needed the repair on the same day I contacted them. I decided to cancel the service because they could not come out soon enough. I have used this company in the past and so today I called to get help with a disposal my step-dad installed. The man I spoke to was incredibly rude and flat out said, we don't help with disposals that are installed by someone else. Unless this company installs all disposals, that means if any other company or person installs a disposal they will not help you! They are an appliance company that will not help if you attempt to save money and install an appliance on your own. If that is their policy that would be fine, but the manner in which the customer service agent spoke to me was completely rude and condescending. I will never use them in the future.

On the positive side they were able to send someone out same day and the were within the time that was given. I have never been so uncomfortable having someone provide service in my home before this .... My dishwasher was not draining and I had a friend who works on commercial dishwashers come check it out and he was unable to figure out what was going on. When the man arrived he was rude from the beginning but I thought maybe just having a bad day and I don't really expect someone working on my appliances to be super engaging but he truly seemed to irritated to have to be here working on my dishwasher. He questioned me at every turn and made me feel like I had done something wrong by having my friend look @ the dishwasher. He started right away saying it was going to cost a lot to fix and did I want to spend that kind of money to fix it. When I explained that I didn't care about the part he was talking about since that had nothing to do with the dishwasher draining and the washer runs fine, he began at that point to try to figure out why it was not draining. He then continued to moan and groan the entire time. He answered a few service calls while he was here and was very negative each time. Then I heard him call and say that our dishwasher wasn't within his capacity to fix. He got his stuff and very rudely told me someone else would be coming by later in the day and my dishwasher was "scary"! He didn't ask if it was ok if someone else came ? Truthfully I just wanted him out of my house but I was still really frustrated. I called the call center to tell them what happened and her solution was to have someone else come out on Monday since I couldn't be home for someone else that day. She didn't really seem to think it was a big deal that I was very uncomfortable and unhappy with the original service I received. I called Monday and cancelled the apt she had scheduled. I would rather continue to go without a dishwasher then deal with that again.

I called this company and explained that my step-dad had installed a garbage disposal and it needed to be checked because we didn't think he installed it correctly. The man I spoke to was incredibly rude and condescending and said they do not check disposals someone else installs. So apparently they just want to sell me a new disposal. I have used them in the past, but I am shocked they won't help me correct the disposal. Will never use this company again
