I would rate my experience as above and beyond what an auto repair shop does. As a younger woman sometimes it feels as if sometimes mechanics will take advantage of my igonorance, but Bobby was absolutely so informative, helpful, and considerate. Their whole staff is amazing. My car had a check engine light on and they found that it was because my gas cap was broken and causing signals of a false leak in my engine. They got me all squared away in basically no time and squashed all of my anxieties in an instant. It feels so nice to have fellow community members looking out for you and the safety of your vehicle. Please go here if you have any issues with your car— they are phenomenal and make you feel like a better car owner because they take the time to explain the things they did. Really appreciate their time and service.

Get your estimates in writing, not just verbally at Midway. I was quoted a price to do a job. I could not go, so I had my sister take the car in. She was charged $55 more than the quote. When I called asking for a correction, they said they remember my call, and they know the estimate because it was in the computer. They never told me that price. I specifically wrote the price down, and decided to use them as they were $10 cheaper than a good friend. I should have gone with my friend. They do good work, but ask for the estimate in writing, before they start work!

My 2016 Nissan Altima did not have the normal performance. The acceleration was sluggish and the check engine light turned on indicating trouble code P0101 for Mass Airflow issues and replacing the sensor didn’t fix it. I learned that the Altima has two catalytic converter and the one by the exhaust manifold under the hood had been replaced. I called three muffler installation places for a quote and decided to go with Midway Muffler because of their no nonsense pricing and great reviews. The rear catalytic converter had to be sawed off and welded back on. The repairs were completed quickly and timely. Very impressed with the quality of repairs and a diagnostic report for a first time customer. (The stuff in the bag is what came out of the front catalytic converter and clogged up the rear one)

Been taking my vehicles here for several years. They are honest and fair. I have called around on a few jobs and they are always the best and don't over sell what isn't needed! They respect their customers! Recommend them to everyone I know!

Exhaust pipe broke on 1985 944 porsche last Friday on my way into work... Dropped the car off and got same day service which was amazing. Got the pipe repaired, installed a new cat and Flowmaster muffler for a decent price! Runs great and sounds better than stock now ??Service: Exhaust

I broke my oil feed line to my turbocharger, Bob was immensely helpful and knowledgeable to fixing the problem. I usually go to Letcher Brothers in Pinole for years, but their prices were way too pricey for me, Middway Muffler & Brake is probably in the top 5 shops in the area for you as a customer. If you want to save hundreds on your vehicle, go here. They have great ethos as a shop and service what you request in a timely manner. Going here from here on out!!

I had a very short window of time to get my son's car repaired while he was home for a visit and my usual go-to was booked up. Driving past Midway (for the 1000th time) I realized that they handle more than mufflers and brakes so I stopped in. Evelyn could not have been more helpful, knowledgable, efficient, and kind. She and the whole team at Midway got the parts and got the work handled so quickly, and the prices were totally reasonable. I could not be more satisfied with the experience and I now have a new go-to shop. Highly recommend.
