Bottles Beerzaar is a cozy neighborhood spot that offers a mix of great food, craft beers, and a welcoming vibe. The restaurant features authentic Indian dishes that taste like homemade Punjabi cooking, with favorites like saag paneer, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, dal makhni, and baingan bharta. Many customers praise the saag paneer as being just like what is made in Punjab, and some even say it’s better than homemade. The naan is described as buttery and delicious, complementing the flavorful curries. Vegetarian options include samosas and fried onion appetizers, which are popular choices for parties and gatherings. The bar area, tucked in the back of the business, serves a variety of local craft beers on tap, along with a selection of beers that customers hope will be refreshed after some outdated stock was found. The owner and staff are known for their friendly smiles and good service, adding to the neighborhood feel. Customers enjoy the casual atmosphere, especially watching sports at the bar. While the restaurant is beloved for its authentic flavors and welcoming environment, some reviews mention that Covid impacted the business, with a significant drop in beer stock and foot traffic. Overall, Bottles Beerzaar is appreciated as a hidden gem for Indian cuisine and craft beers in the East Bay.
The saag paneer is just like someone makes in their house in Punjab. I have stopped making saag at home after I tasted theirs. The chicken tikka masala divine and to satiate your palette there are always local craft beers on tap. Not to forget Simtra.

I love their chicken tikki masala, dal makhni, and basamati rice. I've also ordered their vegetarian samosas for a Christmas party. I along with the people at the party loved them.

One of my favorite spots in the east bay.Ok so you walk through a grocery and tucked in the back is this little bar and about 4 tables serving amazing food.Standout dish weirdly enough is the okra. Fried onion appetizers is always a go to.Great neighborhood vibe, and the owner/ bartender has the nicest smile.
