When I visited this store I usually can find products easy and the ambiance is cool. The hot food is fresh and they are usually well stocked. However , when a customer walks in to a store, they should never feel like they are bothering people who work there to get help. Somehow stores have grown away from empathy with helping customers especially people using self check out. Staff can't pick and choose who they want to help and how much they're willing to help. Customers do not have the knowledge or know how to use the equipment or read what's wrong. It's important to do good to all. Do better....

This is my closest neighborhood market, but I stopped going here and drive farther to shop elsewhere for several reasons. Their produce is always either bad, stringy or totally tasteless, and they are more expensive than say Target grocery or Trader Joe's for most things. The main reason I stopped shopping here though, is unfortunately the employees. I have no idea what's going on at this place or how staff is treated, but every single time I've ever been there the staff is either visibly stressed/upset or shuffling around with curved spine and dead eyes like they've just been unchained from some radiator in the back where they've been beaten, starved and held hostage for days. I've even seen two clerks actively turn-tail and hide out in the flower section when they saw their coworker getting buried with an evening rush of customers. The concepts of Teamwork and Customer Service are non-existent here, even when the mistake is theirs (like an item they've mis-marked the price, etc) let alone any sort of kindness or friendliness. I earnestly hope that every miserable, shuffling staff member finds another modality of employment that doesn't make them so unhappy and unmotivated; and that either this store or Ralph's in general starts taking better care of their employees.

Parking lot is full of beggers wandering around and the employees are disconnected and not at all welcoming. This place has gone down hill, even the 99¢ store is cleaner

Worst service ever. Jamie was the rudest person I have ever met. I've been coming here for decades and never been treated like this. It's sad because the other departments the customer service is outstanding. Arturo in the meat department goes above and beyond every time. The nice gentleman in the cheese station is just wonderful. I'm sure going to miss them because I'm not going there anymore. The cashiers are horrible especially Jamie

The store manager MANNY at this store should not be a manger in customer service. He is unhelpful, INTENTIONALLY, LAZY and Act as if you are bothering him when asking for his assistance. If I could give a half a star that would be what I'd give him. Ralph's has always pride themselves on service and friendliness and I received NONE OF THE ABOVE. I will not go back there for sure. Sales Manager "MANNY " If you do not like your job anymore, give it up so someone who wants the job can have it.

This Ralph's is one of the better ones in the area, and I am generally happy with them and their selection. Service was really good but my most recent experience was pretty disappointing. The store was a mess which is forgivable but the cashier was a manager covering the register and was just slow and didn't seem to know what he was doing and just seemed super annoyed to be on the register. He didn't bag anything and let it sit (pile up) til a courtesy clerk came over. He was trying to manage people despite a 2nd manager a few feet away that was already taking care of the task. Like honestly, if you are covering the register and you don't want to be there, atleast be efficient and not just take up people's time being grumpy and distracted.

So disappointing, no inventory. No employees. No smiles on anybody. Sale items not there. Out of stock. Boring set up and store. Nothing has changed in years. No professionalism anymore. Thx general office... lazy people. Move on. Do more for your customers.

Worse service ever! Employees have no sense of urgency. I tried avoiding this market but once in awhile I come here since it's close to me but every time the line is always long . Employees are grumpy and always feel like they're being bothered.

Very nice people. Sometimes I struggle finding certain items. The employees are very kind to help out. They don't judge the poor or people on welfare we are also humans who deserve kindness

I don't know why anyone would shop at Ralph's. The food is low quality, the prices are whatever, and the store staff is rude and brain dead. The only reason I ever come here is because the good stores close at 10 pm.

Ralph's is just okay. I wish they promoted more local foods like whole foods does. I'd probably feel better about shopping there if they did.

I have always loved coming to this ralphs, i just left the store from doing my grocery shopping and the assistant from the self checkout was being so rude and she made me feel so uncomfortable and i'm sure everyone else felt the same way. she was looking up and down at all of us that we're scanning our items. her name was STACY. she would try to tell me that i couldn't look up the item that i needed to scan (the fruits/veggies) that instead i should just use the barcode but i like to look up the items and have the full experience as well it's not like i was stealing or putting in the wrong item. i just don't think someone has to be all up on your business while you're scanning and checking out. especially staring you down is so strange to me. her name was STACY. other than that i love the store and how clean the produce is and the store is!
