Worked there for just a few days and it’s quite hectic in the sense that there’s rarely work form certain areas and you are expected to be doing something even when there’s nothing. Also this employee whose name starts with R was very rude and unprofessional but to each their own. Not a good place to work unless you get in with the cliche like co workers

I arrive here at 10:57 AM I parked my truck at the side of the road And proceed to the shipping office I checked in A lady she told me your paperwork is with somebody else she will be here at 11:30 and we call you to load your track I went back to my track one of The staff who was responsible for the Yard told me to backup to door#1 I backed up on door number one and waited there until 1:00PM I got tired Because they didn’t even open the dock door I proceed to the shipping office again to ask them what time they are going to load my track I am at dock door# 1 they said you need to get out from the door we will let you know what time we will load your track. at 2 PM that lady come back to me and said you need to come to the shipping office and sign your paperwork I went to the shipping office and sign my paperwork she said sit here we will get you in to load your truck now it’s 259 I am still waiting my truck is not loaded yet

My experience at Nippon Express USA.I come from a aerospace background, I never worked for a logistics warehouse, so I had no clue what I was getting myself into, only experience I had was driving a forklift coming into this job,David Tran, though me a lot of the operations in the warehouse, from loading/offloading cargo from incoming/outgoing trucks, loading (BM2, AMAC, Etc.) and helped me sharpen my skills imputing data and checking paperwork for outgoing cargo. I learn a lot more than I have ever imagined.Also, Elson thought me a lot about how a warehouse operates, from minor details and moving sensitive cargo, too being more efficient and dependable to the team.I would also like to thank Rob, for giving me the opportunity to be part of team and helped me learn everything that I know now.With all that being said, Nippon is a good place to work for, yes there is long hours at times(10-12hrs shifts), just like there’s short days (can be from 6-8hrs shifts depending if you wanna stay or keep working), they are open to teach you a lot of new skills! So go in with a positive attitude and wish you guys nothing the best!

The worst place to wk! Smh. Management needs much improvement. David Tran has a lack of training and maturity which causes a toxic environment for employees. Also his display of favoritism allows an unequal wk environment where his hand picked ppl are allowed to stand around while others are working hard. How does the manager walk up & start leisure conversations with the general labor for 20-25min joking and laughing while everyone else is sweating & working hard?? This is who is running the place. Also it seems that the ones who are the favorites get all the OT while everyone else has to beg for it. And it is very unprofessional to tell racial jokes to groups of employees. I felt very uncomfortable during my time of my employment there. Majority of the time i stayed quiet seeing as my bills are more important than their foolishness. Overall terrible business to work for.And "Grace period" changes every other month upon mangers convenience. Rob the senior manger maybe the only one with some sense. If you are looking for employment, look somewhere else! STAY AWAY!! BTW not a diverse work environment. Dont wast your time with this place. Too many warehouses to wk for in the area. Excellent moving company that handles your entire move with extreme care, cleanliness and professionalism. You will not have to worry about your household goods getting damaged and they are extremely responsive to all queries and concerns. They take good COVID precautions and will also retrieve all of your packaging materials after you have unpacked. We have used Nippon Express for three separate moves and each time, the move went well and relatively stress free.
